It's just the studio in name. A bunch of the devs left and made 2 new development studios. Kinda like how 70% of the devs who made Dishonored left Arkane studios.

I don't think game pass is that big of a deal on PC. Looking at the list, it's not that great. Maybe that's why games like Forza and Sea of Thieves sell on steam. Sure they might try the $1 sign up, but I doubt they are paying full price. Most of the games on pc game pass can be bought for $5-$20. Plus there's a lot of games available for free. Look at a list of free games given on Epic Games store vs the PC game pass list.
On the latest panel from hell the guy answering questions, I think he's the head of Larian (he wears the suit of armor) said they absolutely did not want to make any compromises to the graphics. He said they want to put Balder's Gate at the front of rpgs where it belongs and for that they needed to have good graphics to go along with good story. The requirements for the game are pretty low for pc so not sure what the problem is. GTX 970/rx 480. Rx 480 is similar to the xbox one x
MS makes more money on software than SONY, but not from games. Multiplats sell like 3 or 4 times better on playstation vs xbox. I think they said PSN made more than xbox live and Nintendo's marketplace combined.(not 100% sure on that) PS4 sold almost 2 billion games!
Microsoft thought cell phones weren't worth investing in at first either. Until they blew up and then they tried to enter the market by buying nokia.

You don't know what you are talking about. They have over 2 million players. I bet starfields "planets" won't even be as big as a city in star citizen.

I think the planets are just procedurally generated levels. Don't expect anything planet size since you can't use your ship in atmosphere and I didn't see any kind of ground vehicles. Good luck walking the planet.
They moved the vats to the spaceship fighting. You can target specific parts of the ship
Senua the drama queen. That whole trailer was just about her walking through some cave.
No ground vehicles in starfield. How big can these worlds really be if you have to walk everywhere. Not really "believable" worlds either that have spaceships but no kind of cars. Bethesda is also missing out on selling car armor microsoftransaction.

yea 3rd party exclusives aren't new. Xbox's bigest games were game xbox got and blocked from other platforms. HALO, Gears, Alan Wake, etc.
It was just one person from EA, not the whole company. I'm sure people at EA have their own opinions.
The people that are "backing" it now are people who buy the game and play it or buy ships to use in the game. I think they said they had 2 million players.

They might not buy games but they do buy $20 skins. Halo Infinite had them and they sold pretty well.
