But every 3rd party multiplat has a much bigger player base on ps4. Usually around 2x-3x bigger on ps4. If you like playing with the same people all the time I guess xbox is better for you though.

This is probably because it is allocating memory but not using all of it. Isn't the benefit of GDDR6x is more bandwith? Isn't that the point of adding more/faster ram?
All those games were made for playstation and probably wouldn't exist if not for playstation. Demon's Souls and Bloodborne were co-developed by Japan studio.

So steam is now part of microsoft's eco system or whatever? I guess microsoft is paying steam for every game sold there because they are nice guys, not because many pc gamers avoid the windows/xbox store.
When Nvidia demoed the 3080 on Doom, it was running on vulkan. If direct x gave a better result I think they would have used it.
I played Bloodborne on a base ps4 and it seemed fine to me. I play games on pc with a 1440p 144hz monitor. I also played all demons/dark souls games on console. Bloodborne issues were only made a big deal of because it was a ps4 exclusive.
3070 is supposed to be faster than 2080ti, which can max out most games.

Never heard of 80+ gold,silver, etc. power supplies? Power delivery in computers is directly related to heat. Less efficient = more heat. This is where most manufacturers will cheap out because no one pays attention to it.
It's not that big of a deal if bethesda's games are exclusive to xbox/pc. Bethesda games always are best played on pc anyways. But they release one or two big games each gen. This gen they only released fallout 76? Not sure if fallout 4 came out this gen or last gen. I know zenimax own other games studios, just talking about bethesda.

Xbox 720 would not have been a good name (since it was doing 720p for most games)
Upgrading a graphics card not the same a devs putting in work on a game. You are playing the same game if you change your graphics card, no extra work was done. If money is tight than don't think about upgrading to to the 3000 series nvidia cards. After the card and new mobo it will be $1000+.

Dark Souls franchise has sold over 27 million. (the ones published by bandai) Dark Souls 3 sold over 10 million, which is more than the last halo or gears game sold I think.
This is not targeting the same performance of a 3070. 3070 will be faster than xbox series x
1 TB drives only have around 930GB. Another 100GB for os, so it's a 1TB drive. It's not like they are going to go out of their way to make 825GB drives (is it even possible?) Flash chips would come in something like 64, 128, 256, etc., I think.
They don't need to produce them anymore. They have stockpiles of xbox one. They can keep selling it and will probably never run out of stock

Install base matters for multiplayer games. My point was that people that say ps is only for single player games don't know what they are talking about since practically every 3rd party multiplayer game has more players on playstation. In other words, ps4 has dominated multiplayer and single player games
