You did not read the article at all. The author specifically mentions Super Mario Galaxy as a must play game but was not as "creative" as Super Mario 64.
He is talking about how Nintendo needs to create games that are far more creative like when Luigis Mansion and Pikmin were released.

You know I am actually quite happy about this drop. It was a shock to see the device at 250 especially considering its selling feature did not impress me all that much (3D). I still feel that 3D is a gimmick and I wish the industry would stop pursuing it altogether.

In some ways I am inclined to agree but also it has its flaws in design as well.
Kinect is definitely a more accurate device than the PSMove in terms of body motion tracking (I prefer the move) but the accuracy is hampered by the slow 30fps camera. Fluid movement needs a faster frame rate to capture faster and more varied rapid movement.

The only thing wrong with this build (besides the CPU) is that he is using a raidmax PSU. I would never choose a raidmax PSU for any rig I build. Bad brand.

The hell you talking about? I was implying how square ruined FFXIII and the FF franchise by putting it on the 360 and parading it around like it was gold on toast. Then acting like it was a "sub-par" product compared to FFXII-2 to make it seem like they have not already sold out.

I really love how a community ends up going up in arms over a stat reset on a free beta. You are not going to take those stats with you once the beta ends and retail ships. You start from square one, again.

The fact that they are doing this after MW2 and BO gives me the feeling that they never intended to do any QA for those games unless they were put on the spot by a competitor. I feel that if it was not for BF3 it would have been another rushed product with no QA.

This label of "hardcore" has almost no value anymore.
I prefer games that are a challenge yet has a certain quality in production value, audio, dialog, visuals, gameplay mechanics, and story telling that will make you put down the controller on occasion and say "This game is just amazing and a true pleasure to experience".
I have never seen anyone do that with farmville, angry birds, or Call of Duty Black Ops.
