I'd rather buy bad games and sell them used than to accept a flawed review system that doesn't consider what people will like.

If i was in charge of nintendo i would venture into smart device integration. Nintendo has a large portfolio of unique ips and i would look into getting their ips onto smart devices. But i would also expand their hardware to smartphone accessories to emphasize their games and enhance how they are played.
Why make a half hearted investment into developing hardware to sell when you can piggyback off of already capable devices and add to that with gameplay accessories?
Homebrew for all its worth, is garbage.
There is nothing that a homebrew on any console can do that is better then an open platform like Android, Linux, or Windows.

If there is one thing that surprises me even more about this is the value of both consoles.
I cannot believe the PS3 with its greater value per dollar and more quality content still gets outsold by the 360 with its $60 Xbox Live and Kinect.

Naughty Dog has excelled in designing their levels in a way to reduce the need for high res textures being rendered too soon. A lot of their levels are very well optimized to a degree that they use very little ram.
Naughty Dog are just in a whole other league compared to most devs this gen. They are very very talented and personally I cannot wait to see what they can do with the PS Vita.
Rage on the other hand seems to have a problem freeing up enough memory...
Essentially all he has done was replace the capacitors, improve the shielding from the power supply, and improve on the cooling of both the CPU and GPU in order to reduce electronic noise being leaked through the video signal and processing components.
This won't add more memory or help render textures faster. All this does is reduce picture noise and deliver a CLEARER picture.

Its a combination of all the above. Chris seems to have this kick that no matter what, vita is a failure before it gets to the market and 3DS is somehow an exception to his "rules" for a successful platform.

I don't agree with $60 period for any game. I feel as though games should go back to being $39-$49. To prevent piracy and second hand sales, include an online pass with every new retail copy. Charge $20 for the online pass required to play online with a second hand copy.
It feels like it runs at 60fps. I have it and its smooth in gameplay.
Rage is a technical achievement. Its amazing how good it looks on the PS3. It looks better than new Vegas did on my PC at very high settings. Everything is perfect about this game. Glad I got it early. Heh heh.

Out of all the multiplayer games coming out next year. I think this has the biggest potential to be the next big multiplayer craze like halo and cod. I just hope Sony and light box don't squander this opportunity by advertising poorly like they always do. Huge potential and huge amounts of money to be made but they will squander it if they don't have a crazy over the top advertising campaign.
