Sounds like a perfect bargin bin game. Not worth full price but fun to play at a more reasonable price.
The only thing that bothers me is that guys sit there and shoot at you and it seems you just stand there and take no damage but without taking cover. I sort of hope theres a little risk involved here.
But these guys made Riddick and that game rocked so I will have faith. Of course its a game about evil so maybe faith is like the opposite of what they are going for.

Although I may have a PS3 also by next year, I may not, it really depends on the games and price drop. This game is not a system seller for me. I would not have bought a PS3 to play it, but it was on my "to buy" list since it was originally listed Multi. Thus, I am happy to get it confirmed it is going to be on the system I already have.
If thats just the alpha then the final game should rock. Only problem they probably will have is timing. Sept 2007 will put them almost dead center at ground zero for all the AAA releases. I will still get this game, but will others. Bad timing could kill this franchise for the 360.
I was just about to give up hope that it was actually coming and going to move it off my list. But now I am happy as it appears the game is still on!!
It had been set for June in the US but I beleive it was pushed back to July. May come out sooner in the UK as it was originally scheduled for May in the UK until it was pushed back.
Halo is 17+ game? I always figured it was in the "cartoon violence" category, but I guess there is some cussing but not as bad as other games. I am not a parent, I don’t buy games for children and I am way over 17 so I don’t really have to pay attention to that stuff. Wow could you even imagine what Halo multiplayer would be like if responsible parents took care of and watched their children.

I have really been looking forward to this game ever since I first heard about it. Nothing I have seen changes my mind. In fact I was suprised to hear it would have a multiplayer component. Should be fun.
I think it looks great for what it is. I dont think anyone ever said this would be a AAA title. It should be a entertaining fun little game. Not everything has to be HALO or Gears of War. If the humor is half of what they say it will be worth the money.
Think of AAA titles as big budget movies and games like this as television shows.
is all these limited additions for games no one has ever seen and thus could potentially bomb (kinda like PD0). If it was a franchise I really liked or was really attached too I could see getting a CE. All I need to know is if the campaign is as good and immersive as COD2 or if it’s all about the cut scenes like COD3. Not that COD3 was horrible but if I could redo it I would not pay full price for it. Something as good as COD2 I would pay full price for in a second.
This game was on my buy list and everything in this article keeps it firmly there. Should be fun. Hey and maybe I will get to rule the old west as I dont think a lot of people are planning on getting this game :).
Nice I will get it just for shooting off messages to my friends and typing my characters name and such in games. It would be cool if some games also took advantage of the new device. In anycase I will pick it up immediatly if at a good price, eventually if not at a good price.
