I must say I am really looking forward to this game. Though I am still not sure why you play an Irish guy in WWII occupied Paris. Shouldnt the Sabatour be like a member of the French resistance or something? If I were french I may feel slighted. On the other hand you go Sean, beat them Nazi's down!

Just because some screenshots are dark does not mean the entire game will be dark. Nighttime does actually occur 1/2 of the time.
I know far more people that used to be PC gammers that are now console gammers. And we can actually manage to game on both if there is something on the PC we really want. But the console is just so much easier to use I rather play a game on it even if I take a little graphic hit. I got tired of having to pay attention to make sure my PC could play the game or upgrading it or finding drivers. I like my console.

I think Blue Dragon looks very Cartoonish. Lair seems more "realistic".

Having played neither game and just basing my opinion on these videos it would seem Dirt has the more realistic looking gameplay. It appears Motorstorm is arcade all the way. So it would depend on what you want to play on which you find more fun. The Dirt driver AGAIN is horrible leading me to think the controls aren't too hot, but then the motorstorm guy wasn't exactly tearing it up. Motorstorm seems to be a bit more cartoony then Dirt which matches the Arcade vs attempt at realism diff...

I have high hopes for this game. Because it was developed after Oblivion it has to opportunity to be better. Although I think the publisher would be better served putting up instead of jabbering about how better they are. If they are better the consumers will be the ones jabbering.

I have been waiting for this game. I keep getting antsy as it seems to keep getting pushed back. I was hoping to play it this summer but I guess I can wait if they will make it even better.
I think I figured out why Nascar is more loved then F1 in the USA.
F1 and Nascar are both on TV right now. F1 on my HD channel is only in SD and Nascar is in HD. I am not a big fan of watching car racing in anyform but HD really makes everything better :D.
Gamespot has this thing listed at the end of the month. But they also have The Club as the working name only. So when is this REALLY coming out. If the end of this month I would be a happy camper, I am wanting a new game (shooter or action) to complement all the driving games.

I think you are right when you say the Wii isn't even fighting the war. They are what they are but they are really not competing with the 360 or the PS3. For most gammers I know it's not whether to get one of the others or a Wii its whether they are even interested enough in the Wii to get it with one of the others.
EDIT: So its not that they "can't" compete, it's that they "choose" not to. They deny the battle.
