How hard can it be to make a good spiderman game? It could be like crackdown except with cool spider abilities and bosses. I just dont understand why that is so hard.
Oh and Chronicals of Riddick was about the only movie based game that I have played that was great but then it didnt really follow the plot of the movie. From what I have heard the Spiderman movie is not any good either but the reasons for the game being bad do not appear to be story related so again I ask, how...
Yes, yes it was. One of the funniest episodes of Stargate ever. :)
I was holding out hope that the dog will just be greatly injured or that you could do SOMETHING to actually change the course of events. But they definitly will want to use the dog to make you HATE the badguy. It could be good or it could come off as VERY scripted.
Sounds great. Looking forward to see this one next month.
At least I hope it is actually released next month.
I cant see how anyone can read this preview and NOT think this game was fun. OK the being evil thing is a drag.....but its like the Monty Python of video games, whats not to love.
I was almost sure we wouldn't see this until next year sometime.
Hardly the monster month I had first thought it would be. Although you do get Command and Conquer and Forza. I await June:
Call of Juarez (if it makes it)
Dirt
Hour of Victory (though no reason to assume it will make it)
Overlord
Two Worlds
The Darkness
Didn't The Club get pushed out much further then May?
I expect this will be first person and you wont controll the guys around you. That would distinguish it from GRAW but keep it true to COD gameplay.
Of course I could be wrong and will be just as happy if they added new more advanced gaming features.
Its a movie tie in so it will probably stink.
Where is our SSX for the next gen (besides wii)?
That was pretty nice. So that makes two I have found good. Normally commercials are just commercials to me, but the Gears commercial sold me on that game and although this commercial probably wouldn’t "sell" me I do find it funny in its subtleness. Of course only video game fanatics who are aware of all the issues with car games would understand it.
I actually thought the sword swinging animations look pretty good. They did motion capture on it so the action itself looks good but some of the crp they are wearing or the random swinging in helicopter style through a bunch of badguys looks awkward.
Did Oblivion use motion capture on their fighting animations? For some reason it seems like it is more directly animated then MC.
I am playing this game right now after someone loaned it to me. He loaned it to me previously but my first reaction was I didnt like it at all. But then one day after I gave it back I got the urg to mindlessly beat the crp out of zombies, its like I was infected with zombiehunter virus or something, anyway he loaned it to me again.
I decided if I ignore all the missions the game can fun. I dont know how doing escort mission after escort mission would be fun though. Anyway got...
and read witchblade back in the day. This character first appeared in that comic and then went on to its own success. So the plot should have some depth and it be a good story seeing how people had thought about it and wrote about it for years (if they stay true to the comic). If the game is anywhere close to playing like Riddick then the gameplay should be awesome. Graphics look good. Not sure about playing evil (but then Riddick is no mary poppins). Yeah, I will be buying.
Per this preview "This is the kind of madness gamers can expect when Two Worlds ships for PC and Xbox 360 on June 26."
The other sources I have seen have said anything from mid May to end of June. I have not heard it will be pushed back to September and if they are already doing hands on previews I dont know why it would get pushed back that far. Unless they get a lot of negative feedback from the previewers.
What happened to this game. It was getting hype and was on my watch list and then it just dissappeared. It suddenly comes back and turns out it is the same trailer as before, Weird.
I always liked MOH series. Sure it was never as polished as the COD games and sometimes I felt more like an infiltrator then a solider in all out war but I still always had a good time with it.
This one looks great and is a must buy for me. I find the mission can be different depending on where your paratrooper lands to be intriguing.
JT apparently knows as little about weapons and tactics as he does about video games. Shooting in a FPS is nothing like shooting in real life and does not "train" you in any way.
I also find it amusing that this fellows roommates say he was on the computer all the time, but not playing video games but reading\writing. Yet JT the massacar chaser cant stop himself but to use this for his "cause". He seems to have a messiah complex and thinks he knows whats ...
I suspect they may have liked the game.
I never played the series before but I did put it on my watch list when gamespot originally had it listed for last holiday season. The story sounds decent, I hope the gameplay will match it.
This is the same old stuff. I want new stuff to come out for this game. I have no idea how they are progressing.
