How would that tell you "how it plays"? He didnt say that wasnt recorded from in game footage, he was asking what it felt like to play it. How the mechanics work, what are missions like and the levels and the enemy AI, the story? Graphics are great but to have a great game it needs to be fun to play. I never did finish Mercs 1 since I bought it used right before getting my 360. I loaned it an my Xbox to someone this year and he was playing it and talking about it for months. Until he got frustrated with the final mission. I will have to get it back from him and try the BC for it to prepare myself for this one.
Yes but COD4 had a stronger showing then any of those games at E3. COD4 was the best game shown at E3. I wonder why it didnt make the PS3 list. Maybe its going to be delayed? I am not saying it will be, its just if I was looking at best games for a console and they talk about COD4 on the 360 but not the PS3 then I would start to wonder if its not on the PS3. (assuming I was someone who was not already aware it was multiplatform).
Call of Duty 4 was better then everything at E3.
Which is really not that suprising considering how good Call of Duty 2 was. I am really looking forward to that game. People were thinking it was going to be a GRAW but it looks like it will be a true COD game just in modern times.
No one has played the actual finished halo game yet so how does anyone know if it is good or not. I thought the first one was ok and I actually liked the second one better. I suspect the third one will be good also, of course I wont claim I know this as I never have played it. But it seems like it will be solid like the last two.

Most of that appears to be concept art. The little trailer at the bottom is nice though. Game is looking good. The E3 trailer was really good.
All this started with that dam music....rap, no... rock and roll, no... I think SWING music that was the downfall of society. After all some of the most violent times in earth history (well except for them pesky crusades, throwing people to lions, hacking people to death and stoning them because they were not "moral" enough) was during the SWING music days.

Well I like Overlord and the 360 both just fine.
Although, I am intrigued by the thought of having a blue on hand to resurrect the box if it ever does become necessary.

Funny, I had this on my list last christmas (based upon gamespots release date list). After hearing mostly nothing about it since then I started to wonder if maybe its just a bad game series or its never coming out and was considering taking it off my list. Much like Timeshift it has made a stunning recovery and now I am really looking forward to it.
I have not been into JRPGs before but with BD, Eternal Sonata, this and Last Remnant I guess I will get over my previous prejudgements and give these a go.
Maybe I should go back and give Enchanted arms a try reveiws are not great but they are average\good and it should be cheap now.
If its the dev says its not coming out for another year, I have other games to keep me hyped. See me again during the next summer drought and I will start wishing for this game again then.
I have no problem with a game going crossplatform or to PC but I do get sad that the devs dont share the same exeperience across the platforms.

Mine has never given me a bit of trouble. But if they found a problem and fix it for free, its all good. No hard feelings as long as they keep putting out the so many great games.
But taking place between the two series sort of says your fate is sealed (to a certain extent). Just as we knew what was going to basically happen at the end of the "new" trilogy we surely know this will not end well (ultimatly) for our force weilding character.
I have never much of a fan of this type of game. I mean it seems like a good idea, cool enemies, cool fighting moves... but wave after wave of enemies rushing in so you can bash them (or they can kill you) tends to get old.
A lot of people have loved this series though and I have never played this actual series only other games like it. Also, I am really looking forward to Too Human which kind of seems along the same lines as this. So I guess I should give it a try. Thoug...

I was not impressed. That being said it was a small demo so I will wait for impressions from people who play the full game before deciding on a purchase. I also need to get a look at 2k to see what they have to offer. I really REALLY want a football game and my choices are limited at this point.
That being said I didnt actually expect the price cut until after Halo since that will probably sell a few systems and would mark the end of the first big game rush IMHO.
For the second big game rush leading into GTA which is cross platform they may want to consider lowering their prices so that people trying to decide which system to get that game for go for a cheaper one... if they decide today then its a toss up between consoles since they are effectivly the same price now...
I was looking forward to a lot more Too Human also. Plus I was looking for a confirmed 07 release date. Oh well, delays only make games better, right?
