LO was a nice long, fun game that I enjoyed very much ealier this year. I thought the dreams were well written and helped flesh out the main story. As for the main story itself, like most jrpgs I have played it veered a bit off track but not nearly as badly as Eternal Sonata which jumped a cliff late in the game with the story.

Why is anyone super interested in doing a beta for something that releases in less then a month when there are so many great games out or coming out right now.
I had to put Farcry 2 on the backburner to get Fable 2. I will get Fallout 3 next week. Then Gears, then Call of Duty, then Last Remnant. Single player in this game is great fun if you love tatical shooters. I would easily recommend it at $40 except to the impatient run and gun crowed.

Yeah I think it takes me a total of 5 seconds to reach over to my recharge pack to get the new pack and swap it out for the old one. Seems like that would be easier then having to keep switching out controllers (especially after I have one nice and broken in).
If you really want to cut down on time you get the play and recharge kit, that way you never have to restart your controler or the new controller.

I think I have finally decided to get this game but I am going to try to see if I can find any deals on it closer to Christmas.
