Maybe they ought to release the first game and see if people will buy it before dreaming of sequels.
Yes if you do not have this game...go buy it.
Wait did he say there were 11 missions that could last up to 1/2 each and then at the end say the game offers a lengthy campaign?
11/2 = 5.5 hours....so about the same length (or shorter) then Halo ODST. Not comparing the actual game to Halo as I am sure I will enjoy it more (I am more of a tactical shooter fan). I just thought that his statements were oddly contradictory. Or did I mis-understand what he said?
After finding Two Worlds to be a bit more enjoyable then I expected (based on reviews and initial impressions) I am more likely to give this game the benifit of the doubt and pick it up when it finally releases in the US.
Good review. I am looking even more forward to this game though now I know to not get too upset when I die alot ;).
Hmmm... a reason to avoid the game. Jason "Mayhem" Miller that is, the others are fine.
Was he drunk?
I think I will enjoy this game and MW2. Though the more tactical the better for me. Its not like this is going to be a Full Spectrum Warrior but maybe it will give me that type of fix.
Not sure its really long enough (for this type of game) to justify $60. But I will probably pick this up when it gets cheap.
Looks pretty good so far. And for all the healthpack fans... no regenerating shields.
I know that a games ending can change the way you think of a game. Its the last chance for a game to make an impression on you.
I remember thinking Kameo was a pretty good game. Then when I replayed it I was thinking "why did I like this game" but by the time I got to the end again I was thinking "this is a pretty good game".
On the other hand I played Fable II for hours thinking it was pretty fun and then got to the end and was left with th...
Glad someone was intelligent enough to call the game before he hurled.
So, lightsabers are what...mining tools?
Good news, maybe we could get a Dead Space Plasma Cutter.
I don't really like batman. He and most of his enemies are pretty cheesy. That said the demo was quite impressive and probably the best superhero game demo to date. I am seriously considering this game even if it does have the Caped Crusader (NO CAPES!!) and over the top comicy villians.
So is there a medium core gamer. I buy lots of games and I play them non stop until I finish them (if I like them). I finished Battlefield Bad Company and Call of Juarez in the same weekend (last weekend). I beat Dead Space this weekend. And today I am roaming around various gaming boards commenting on games and figuring out if I want to play Prototype (sitting next to me) or wait and start Batman next weekend. So I am not quite a casual gamer.
On the other hand there a...
Yes, with the health bar system you run the risk of getting stuck in a section of game where you can never beat it. Unless they have a feature in Dark Athena where if you died enough times in the same spot it gradully gives your health back with each subsequent death. That seemed to work, having the game realize when your in real trouble (and maybe you can turn this off for Hard mode or Ultimate mode for those who like real challenges).
Most casual gamers play for fun not cha...
Scared me, I thought this was going to get pushed to.
Booo
Oh well, if they dont just sit on it but take the time to polish it then it can only be a good thing. I do fear more games will be dropping out of Q1 though and I just hope that someone doesnt decide these all need to be held off till the "holidays". That would stink.
Wait so you’re saying MS is pushing, pushing, PUSHING Natal and you don’t think they will have a Natal SKU. I think you would have to be smoken somethin if you don’t think they will launch a Natal SKU next year.
Now I am not really into motion control either. I think it’s silly and gimmicky and I hope to god that the majority of games stick with the 360 controller. However, there is the possibility that some game designers will implement some of the other features of Natal i...
All reviews are personal preference.
And there are some games that are just so fun that really who does care if they have graphic glitches. Other games have nothing except they look pretty, in which case you kinda have to care because the gameplay certainly isnt keeping you interested. And for each person this will vary, even for professional reviewers. Its not like he disgarded that information without telling you. He told you, and he told you his opinion of it, now you ...
