According to the gamespot release list this comes out Oct 7. Is that true, because thats like 4 weeks out and I haven't heard much on this game. Is there going to be a single player? That footage (which did look kinda cool) looked like all multiplayer.
I am playing Tales of Vesperia right now, didnt see it on his list but its a pretty good JRPG.
I think at this moment Rise of the Argonauts may be in my top 3...may boot Last Remnant or maybe even Fallout3. But Fable II is definitly in my top 3 due to my love for the first game.
Elveon...is that really coming out? I havent heard hardly anything about it?
Sacred I am still taking a wait and see approach to it...which is funny since I am diving in ...
hmmmmmm. 4 out of 5 eh? But from canada.com, can't say as I have ever paid attention to any reviews from them before.
I am very stoked for this game. I love hockey but have put off getting a next gen hockey game. I loved the demo and am looking forward to digging into the full game.
While I didnt hate the demo, I was not impressed by it. I thought the controls were not that good and the camera was quite annoying and the lightsaber seemed underpowered and sort of pointless. Still it was star wars so I am hoping the full game will be better.
Demos are not always good representations. I hated the Tales demo but am having fun with the full game. I thought maybe this would be the case with Force Unleashed but it may be that its just an average game as I tho...
Yeah I can't wait for this one either. Its going to be an expensive next 3 months but I think this one is going to be a sleeper and I am actually looking more forward to this then some other higher profile games.
yeah I am getting this :).
I played that mission three times last night to try to decide what character I wanted to play. I never lost my tank probably because I just spamed that building with shells so the RPG guy (and everyone else) died pretty quick. When I finally swam across there was no one to play with.
I like Tales quite a lot so far. I am about 25 hours in. It would be nice if there was more VO but otherwise I dont see anything wrong with it. Its fun and it mysteriously steals time away and thats all I am really looking for in a game.
This and Rise of the Argonauts I think are going to be a couple of sleepers. Fun games that get overlooked by a lot of people.
I had quite a lot of fun with Lost Odyssey and am having quite a lot of fun with Tales of Vesperia. Of course I thought Fable 1 was a fun game too. Eternal Sonata was ok too. I will try out Infinite Undiscovery and judge for myself. After all its not like it got a horrible review, just an average one, so I am sure there will be some fun to be had while I wait for the other great games coming this year. (there seems to be at least one game a week I want for the next 16 weeks, this week ...

Viva Pinata>Infinite Undiscovery>Mercenaries> Tales of Vesperia.
Hmmm, not sure what I think of their reviewers. I do know I am enjoying Tales of Vesperia so I guess this could be a good sign I will like the rest of these games. Though I really cant see myself playing Viva Pinata.
I dont know if I am a "hardcore RPG nut" and I have never played a Tales game before but I am having a lot of fun with this game so far. The only time I didnt have fun was playing the mission from the demo. I didnt like it in the demo, and I didnt like it anymore in the game. Otherwise I really like this game so far. I am 25 or so hours in.
Not thier type of game.
I want this game far more then Tales of Vesperia (which is good), IU or even Mercenaries... But I will get those to kill the time till this one comes out I guess.
"About 25 to 30 hours into Namco Bandai's incredibly satisfying anime-styled romp, that Airship GET! moment occurs. The funny thing, though, is that as exhilarating as grabbing an airship is in Tales of Vesperia, you're still absolutely compelled to chase down the loose ends of the story. The credit goes to Vesperia's well-spun yarn about choice, responsibility, and the encroaching end of the world. "
Hmmm, so incredibly satisfying games are just average.... bring on ...
No, actually they don't, at least not in this case, just reprinted one that was already posted.
Again, this is the SAME review. This is the IGN review just posted on the Askmen website.
Actually it sounds like the IGN 7.1 review. I mean it sounds EXACTLY like it, word for word. Was the IGN review "syndicated" for anyone to use or something.
EDIT: Yep at the top of the page it says IGN Entertainment.
Sorry for 2K but this Hockey fan finally went back to Hockey on next gen but I went for NHL09. Its plenty simple and has lots of great options, I am loven Be a Pro.
As for the Boardrooms of the League, if they want fans back they need to expand their TV offering. We don't even get Versus in my area....get back on ESPN and I will watch you every Wed night (and every other time your on)just like I used to. Now I have to wait for NBC games which only show up at the end of the ...
