Best Buy, Target and Gamestop didnt have this today so I just got Tiger Woods 09 instead. Next time I go out will be Thursday so I will look for Tales and (hopefully) IU then. I am being silly though because I am getting Mercenaries next week and then probably NHL 09...so I am building myself a backlog.
I watched the 4pt developer walkthrough on Gametrailers yesterday which included the battle with this "jailer". It looked really cool like a good dungeon crawler and got me a bit hyped.
I then watched a boss battle outside with some worm thing and I was a little less impressed. However I think the boss battle was an older video and the game still has a while to go before it gets released so they should be able to get all the clipping and video issues that I saw in...
Wow Farcry 2 is the only one on that list I am even interested in.
Left4Dead is MP only pretty much so I have no interest.
I dont know a lot about Bayonetta but "bullet witch" keeps coming to mind... plus i am not a big NG fan and never played DMC.
Alpha Protocol? I haven't heard much about this either but I have little interest in Bond, Bourne or Bauer.

Meh, isnt really on my list but if it does come out I will look at it, if it doesnt come out till next year I will look at it then. There are so many other games I want that this one is not a piority for me.
It looks really pretty on HDTV...at least thats why I started watching it. Then you start hearing about how they are setting up the cars and running the tracks and then it helps you out in Forza (because actually the first races I watched were the road racing ones... and then this year they raced in the rain that was cool)

Microsoft, (even though I love the games I am playing on the 360) is pretty vanilla corporation. Probably they wont announce anything of any great interest (to me). They probably signed some new TVshow\movie\music content providers or something.
Yeah, I have lost faith in "suprised" announcemnets from any of the console makers. The only time they actually have a suprised announcement thats any good, is when it actually is a suprise, not some leaked-crp-to-build-hyp...
I was able to forcegrab the tie fighters just fine on the 360 version. Well just fine but by accident due to the not so good aiming controls... but when I did decide to throw some of the other ones I could grab them and throw them where I wanted, no problem.
Game looks great but the controls leave something to be desiredd as does the camera and the AI. Still though, its Star Wars and maybe it gets better as you get more used to it. So still a day one for me.
Graphics look better then what I have seen previously. Crimson Skies was really fun so the combat should be good. I think I may have to add this to one of my list...just not sure which one yet.
I am not really looking forward to this, I dont see the need or the point and I think its just a "fad". But the sooner the better that we get this over with so I dont have to hear about it anymore. So I am happy that it sounds like its almost here.
I am eagerly anticipating this game. Yes I may be the only ones (besides the guys that keep posting the article on it) but I am. I like the concept and the trailers were cool. I hope it lives up to my expectations (which really are not THAT high..just want a fun dungeon crawler...is that so much to ask?).
I hope "Safe house" is an actual name of a hotel or something, because otherwise your "safe house" isnt very "safe" if its advertised on a street sign. ;)
Was the reloading thing a bad "active reload" type penatly or is that doing to be random gun jamming. I hope for the former.
This game is really looking good though. I enjoyed the first one so this one is definitly on my list.
I liked the graphics and the sound and of course the setting. However I thought the camera was really bad, as was the AI of the enemy and the controls seemed kind of lose (hard to aim at specific targets to pick up or attack).
Now, what I didnt like about the demo may be issues I could get through once I got more used to the controls but the Demo actually put a bit of a damper on the hype I had for this game. I will still probably get it for the potential of coolness but I am...
If its good I will get it. I dont need an NFL license if the game is good and next gen.
This is quickly moving up my list of most wanted games. It probably will never eclipse Gears or Fable (I loved the first one) but I do currently want this more then Fallout or Force Unleashed. Not saying this will be better then those games but to me, I am more eager to play this right now.

Actually I always figured they did still have unreal code and that the entire reason they sued Epic to begin with was just to try to force some sort of out of court settlement that just made sure Epic wouldnt sue them for the licensing fees. I know, its a conspiracy theory and I have no facts to back it up, but its just my gut feeling.
I like the look of this better then Tales, but Tales is out now so this may have to wait. Its a pretty sure bet I am getting both however.
