Yes it could have used a tutorial level or a practice section that goes beyond free flight.
Hmmmm well they always say games are good in previews so I am still thinking this will bomb. I hope it doesn't, I would love a great MMA game but I just don't have a lot of faith that it can be pulled off.
Condemned 2 was a letdown for me after I had loved Condemned 1 so much. I have never finished that game.
Lost Oddyssey was a great game and I do recommend that highly.
I would also probably add Brothers in Arms:HH and Mercenaries 2 (which I am playing now)to this list as they seem completely ignored but are pretty fun.

I played GTA IV, I liked it, I spent a lot of hours with it. Is it my GOTY? Well, probably not but I can see how others would really like it that much but I probably would pick fallout over it but I am not sure if even that would be my GOTY.
Been waiting for this game since its it was originally pushed back. I dont expect the greatest game of all time, but I do expect a good fun game. I am going to wait for reviews though, anything 6 and up I will try. After all Overlord only got 6s and I loved that game.

Hmm, in the last two weeks I have finished Fallout 3, Gears 2 (twice but saving insane for christmas break) Fable 2, and COD5 on normal (may replay this on hardened).

Other then the furniture store thing I have not noticed any of those glitches. I did just get to bloodstone though. I did finish the TOBY and the Ghost Pirate quest without issues, but the bloodstone gamemaster did try to shoot me for no apparent reason. I hope I don't need him for anything, because he didnt quite make it.
I put Fable 2 down to play Fallout 3 because to guys at work were playing that one and I wanted to be able to talk about it with them. I ended up finishing after one of them but before another. I put 100 plus hours in and probably could have kept playing longer but I just HAD to put it down to play Gears 2 on my 6 day Thanksgiving weekend.

I wonder if anyone at that radio networked played the game and filled the talk show host in. It's funny for all those who have a clue about the game but I wonder what all the rest of the people were thinking. I wonder if any of them told their son/daughter about this dream this guy had on the radio and they got clued in.
What broken quest? I will have to read that full review, but the only quest I came across that I had to do another way was one in Big Town. I was going to show them how to fix robots... but there was no robot to fix that I could find.

Wow nice spoiler so I guess no "twist" there.
Thankfully I finished the game last night though so it's not so bad for me. The main story is shorter then expected and near the end I felt compelled to complete it even though I knew it was the end. Now I will reload one of my previous saves and go back to finish some of the sidequest I had waiting for me.

Yeah I had this as a possible on my lists but now it looks like Stoked is the only hope for a good snowboarding game this year. Its been pushed till the end of the year but thats fine as I am still playing fallout, fable, gears and going to pick up COD and last remnant, so I can wait. I just hope Stoked is actually good.
Well sounds better then I expected. I will probably pick it up when its more properly priced at $20 or so. Considering the game length is the same as two movies, I should only have to pay about the price of two movies. (yeah I only go to the movies in the day so I can still see two for $20....unless I go to the dollar theater).
Didnt I read yesterday that this game was actually pushed out to the fiscal year that ends March 2010? Not 2009 but 2010, if so it deserves no hype at this point. I will look for that article.

I finished the game 3 times, one of the best WWII single player experiences you will find. But then I prefer tatical shooters to run and gun and this is most definitly a slower tatical game.
Hmmm between this and Shaun White, this may have just taken the lead. I would be happy with another SSX because I know the franchise but it looks like I am going to have to get one of these, just not sure which.
Amir Sadollah may never fight again in real life but his massive 1-0 record will get a boost when I play him in this game. Front kicks are underratted...and CB Dollaway is overratted, who I see didnt make the roster.
