Gears and Skyrim seem to be far more anticpated than Batman. Certainly by me as I thought the first game was nice looking but a bit over-rated in the gameplay department (especially in boss battles). However, I don't think it's just me as when I go to other sites they are always talking more about Skyrim, Gears and even Battlefield 3 then they talk about Batman.
I picked up Red Faction:Guerrilla and Just Cause 2. I forgot about Darksiders and am adding it to my list.
Enslaved was perfectly fine, not great but there is some fun in there for a cheap game. One of the best double-takes by a video game character ever in one of the scenes. IMHO.
Far Cry 2 is way old. I was going to get it but the one person I knew that had it and had said it was good at first said it got boring and wasnt really worth it. I still may ...
I personally thought the first Halo was overrated too. Though I did finish the game I was happy when it was over.
I do think the later games got better and I did really enjoy Reach quite a lot. Though I won't say its the best shooter ever, it was a good shooter and probably the best Halo.
Also, I think a lot of draw for the people that really love Halo was the multiplayer though some really love overall story of the Halo universe.
I started playing it, didn’t like it, and never finished. I felt it was highly overrated.
Maybe if I played it before I heard people saying OMFG IT’S FREAKING AWESWOOOMMEEE, and I went in with no expectations, maybe then I would have stuck with it and maybe it gets better later in the game. As it was I found it to be a dated, average shooter and not really worth my time when there are so many other games to play.
Each to their own, I guess.
I actually liked the first Two Worlds better then the last Divinity I played. So I am looking forward to TW2. Though I am still wondering if it will be a day 1 purchase for me or if I will wait for it to be cheap like TW (which probably helped me not be as dissappointed in it as others were).
So it keeps the kids from locking themselves in the bedroom...or gives them a reason to tity up. The bigger issue kids will have will the the casual parents who impulse buy it, not knowing how to set it up, or not knowing they need to pay for xbox live..or worse, not knowing they need an xbox.
It will all work itself out though. Plenty of kids and soccar moms will be thrilled to have it. Most will eventually get over it and stop playing in the coming months, some will be h...
I don't know if you think of it from a target audience point of view, Kinectimals is probably more fun for its key demographic then Heavenly sword or motorstorm were for their key demographic. Of course Heavenly storm and motorstorm have a lot more competition for that audience. So from that perspective this game probably does score higher.
For me it kind of failed. I heard so much about how awesome Final Fantasy was. How if you wanted the true JRPG experience you needed to play those games. I did not have near as much fun with it as I did with Lost Odyessy or Tales of Vesperia. So if that is what people consider the A+ JRPGs then I think I will stick with the B-C ones.
Came out the same week as a similar game with an already existing fanbase. Came out only a few weeks before Fallout 3, Fable, and other big releases. Also was sort of a short game with no multiplayer so people are more likely to rent it or pick it up later when it gets cheap.
I found that but didnt get the reference since the hat was some gamblers hat.
Supporting staff should have went to Six and this should have been a tie.
Monkey wasn't particularly tan and his voice work and mocaps were not from a black man.
Though I personally thought trip was a little witch for enslaving Monkey and see no real excuse for it, the thought of racial overtones never occured to me. It seems that if it occurs to anyone else that tells you more about that person then the Enslaved game itself.
Slavery is wrong, race not withstanding. So to say the plot is stupid and bad for having a "...
Yes, I hate zombies or zombie like creatures (Flood) anything that runs right at you mindlessly. They seem to be everywhere these days. But then I guess it makes the AI easy to program.
I love how criminals always try to justify their behavior. They don't have jobs so don't understand economics. They are parasites.
Everyone who has a job wants to maximize their income. Why would someone sit around all day developing games if they get nothing out of it? If they can't pay their rent or take care of their families. You steal a game, you are stealing the profit that pays them to make the games. Steal enough and it won’t be worth the effort and yo...
Coca-Cola is better. Boycott Kinect!!!!
joking (well except the coke is better part).
Halo Reach.
I hate the flood and I wasn't too found of the Warthog missions in 1 and 3 either so I guess 2 is my second favorite (though 3s warthog didnt bother me as much as 1... I was just done with the game at that point when I was playing 1 and just wanted it to be over).
However, considering I hate the flood ODST should be my number 2 but for some reason I dont have any real memories from playing it....maybe I should play it again.
I agree.
Sure go ahead and make the enemy AI a little better (count me on the list that don't want it too smart, except maybe on a Legendary setting) but also make your allie AI as smart as the enemies.
I have played games longer because of the Acheivement concept. Gamerscore itself is not really that motivating for me but acheivements are as it gives me something to try that perhaps I wouldnt have done on my own. However, it still doesnt make un-fun games fun and I won't play a game just for acheivements but I do play fun games longer.
Most games are decent at hiding it though. The last game I really had that feeling from was COD3. I loved COD2 I felt like I was in a war but in COD3 I felt like I was in a war movie. COD4 fixed that of course... I dont remember my feelings of W@W so much. Also, I didnt feel that way with REACH.
I asked for it. Other than the first 10 min I really liked the first game. In fact I actually had more fun with this than Batman. (though Batman was the technically superior game graphic wise).
The boss fight at the end was a little annoying but very memroable for me since it was difficult (for me) and had a countdown. I was getting frustrated after trying it several times and on my last playthrough I was pounding on him just as time expired. I was one sliver of health away...
