Ok, so that means the PC Version is compromised instead. Great....
I didn't mind the Fable 2 Graphics. I can understand why people would think a sequel means an improvement to the graphics. For me, Fable 2 looks good enough, so improving on that foundation should allow for them to focus more on gameplay elements. I'd rather Lionhead focus on the story and quests moreso than graphics. The story for Fable 2 was lacking compared to the first Fable. Heck Fable 2 needs to be longer overall!
nogolis, while I do respect your opinion. The way you wrote it will offend people. I believe you don't deserve of being name-slandered (I've read over your comment history and it looks like you got a level-head), but the way you write your Heavy Rain-related criticisms may seem a bit "hasty".
If you can, please elaborate on what you didn't like or what can be improved. If you're lying about having played it and are just joking with us: you definitely got your laugh.
They're making US pay to basically promote/advertise their game, support the game, and deal with all the bugs. And they're making us pay to help them. That's just BS.
There's barely any real spoilers that will seriously detract from the enjoyment of this game. Like say...MGS4. I watched the review before submitting and I felt comfortable about the review.
I really think Halo looks just like Halo. It looks good enough, but based on those screens: I'm not seeing this game win any "Best Graphics" awards in lew of other games anytime soon. I just hope the aliasing issue has been resolved as that was a nasty point of Halo 3.
Really guys? C'mon....
Upload a game and get slammed with a $1.3M fine.
Ruin the lives of other girls and sell their bodies and walk away with a $1K Misdemeanor
Kill a person in a hit-and-run and get fined $500k or jail time.
The legal system is really messed up as uploading a game is more serious a crime than vehicular manslaughter.
I doesn't know about you. But if I only had money to get a PS3/360 or a HDTV. I'm going to get a PS3/360. The HDTV can wait. Regardless, this is a legitimate issue and Bioware are just being assholes right now. Have you tried playing ME2 on an SDTV? It'll worsen your eye-sight.
Instead of Bioware being like douches, why don't they just support SD resolutions like most games can do? Your customers bought a game and expect it to work under most conditions, even SDTV. It is a legitimate complaint and Bioware needs to do something about it.
It's not Bioware's prerogative to offer home theater advice. It's to make a game that works for people. And a 14-pg thread on the Bioware forums complaining about illegible text clearly says something.

Bots, split-screen, LAN-play and other offline features is a major deciding factors in my game purchases.
I can pick up a game like Timesplitters Future Perfect: grab three other players and play against bots. Those were good times.
Save it EA. If your Console Port is as enthralling as the first Dead Space: don't bother.
You actually make alot of sense. I fully understood that about the business model of game consoles, but I hadn't thought that the US Army wouldn't be doing much other than installing a game and calling it a day.
It mirrors cell phone plans very well. Reason iphones cost $200 w/ activation is subsidy. It's all about subsidy. Heh, kinda like a gateway drug.
Just another form of DRM that I won't be supporting. I knew this would happen eventually. I'm in favor of the used-game market because it gives power to consumers against bad games. Had Cerberus Network DRM not been used in Mass Effect 2, I would've bought it "new" Day 1 just to show support, but I'm better than that to fall prey to EA's sleeze. EA's always trying to push our buttons about how much we can tolerate their BS.

I doubt things will work out as many people would hope. Behold, the B&N Terms of Use.

The price for an item on the Barnes & Noble.com Site may differ from the price shown in a User's shopping cart — it is possible that such price may increase or decrease between the time the item is placed in a shopping cart and the time that the purchase is actually made. On rare occasions, an item may be priced incorrectly on the Barnes & Noble.com Site. If the pric...
I see your point very well, but I just don't feel comfortable about this much control over a game. I just want to get a game, play it, get some stuff off the XBLM and get on with it. And now there's an extra step of the Network. How many more steps will companies take to protect their content? I'm speaking with my wallet here and won't buy ME2 because I see a pattern emerging.
Dood, I totally understand where you're coming from, but Avatar is just a kids' film for the most part. When I was watching the film the plot was just sooooo predictable and there's barely anything there to make us think on a deeper level about the morality of uhh......smurfs?
Regardless, Avatar is a solid "feel-good" movie. And that's what most people want anyways.
