Really? I thought that part was easy. In-fact, the only crypt that made me think was the one where you had 4 courses to run.
You shouldn't always believe what Bungie or the media tells you. Bungie makes it sound really cool with the "real-time" environment and not a sandbox anymore. Fact of the matter is that many other games have successfully rendered an entire world back in 2007. Bungie makes it sound like a big thing when it's been done already. Bungie's just late to the party.
I'm not saying that Halo Reach still won't be cool, but just stay objective and don't always believe what develop...
I like the way that Bungie approached the story. They're focusing on Spartan III's because they haven't been really covered in Halo games nor Halo lore until Ghost of Onyx. That allows Bungie alot of creative freedom to play around with. I'm also liking the fact our main character can be customized somewhat like an avatar. That was one of my most wanted features in Halo SP and I hope for the best on that.
It also looks like they're using the soldier models from Halo Wars. Very a...
My monitor is fine as Adobe Premiere didn't give me any problems yesterday. Geez, tough crowd: I lost a bubble for asking a question.
*sad face*
I agree with thief's points, but I think that has more to do with the games itself, rather than the platform they represent. They can give me all this BS and rig the rating system all they want, but what they can't control is me buying their games off Ebay and thus, them not getting any money from me.
Suck it down hard, asshole corporate douches. (Especially Gamestop)
Agreed. Like we haven't heard that excuse from game developers before. Of course they're going to blame it on everything except themselves for damage-control. Face it, the delay is a pure business-decision; Nothing more.
I don't see a difference. They both look relatively the same. Which isn't bad, but I was hoping for more. Now fix the texture pop-ins and framerates and that's what will count.
EDIT: Wow@responses. I got 20/10 Vision, I have a nice Samsung Plasma HDTV in the living room, and I own a PS3, 360, and Crysis-PC. And I still think those shots look relatively the same. What am I missing here?
Darkeyes is the only one that makes sense. It's purely business related. For all we know, Conviction could be finished in January and sitting in the dark room, waiting for mass-production in the month of March. So we don't get to play Conviction for so long.
I'm pissed that Salem is a douche and Rios sounds like someone shoved a c*ck down his throat and forgot to take it out. The characters are uninspiring and above all, there are no subtitles to be able to discern when Nathan Drake talks or Salem talks.
As gamers, we should be stoked that any game is given the chance to push the technical envelope. I'm going to wait until Nvidia releases their cards, so we can have a price war going on.
Affirmative.

A delay doesn't exactly inspire confidence. I'm starting to question this game now.
Remember a game that kept getting delayed for "polish"
"Haze".
word. I don't think there needs to be a movie anyways. Most MGS games are like movies themselves.
I'm not surprised. The voice of Snake is more important than what he looks like, I think.
I hate it when people keep picking up the flag and dropping it. It's so annoying for everyone playing.

Scans and internet info isn't enough to sway me. I need hands-on time to make my judgment.
I agree. I played the GoW3 E3 Demo from the District 9 demo. The graphics does not look as good as Uncharted. It looks like GoW2 HD. GoW3 looks ok by this-gen's standards, but it's going to win Best Graphics awards anytime soon.
While I can see where and how you go to that conclusion, I'm going to have to still believe that split-screen has more to do with developers than the engine they used. Gears is a great example of QUALITY FullHD Split-screen. Not that cookie cutter crap like RE5 or MW2. (with many more examples out there). I'm glad that Ubi-Montreal did good with Conviction. My only wish now for this game is LAN-Support.
I don't ask much from a console-list. All I really use console for is playing around in SP and adjusting the FOV so I don't get headaches. I really don't see the reason for getting rid of the console.
To prevent cheating? Ya, pull an Infinity Ward on that right? Without D-servers, users and admins aren't given the power to moderate that crap. Well anyways, any argument against no console-list, or public D-server files can be seen and read at Modern Warfail anyways.
