I just went to the Exchange today to "assist" a friend in buying a PS3 because he wanted it strictly as a blu-ray player. Don't ask me why he wanted me there, but I'm glad he knew to buy a PS3 rather than a stand-alone. He still wants to borrow GH3 though, so there's hope for him yet.

It might be people NOT buying HD-DVD players that widened the gap. Just my own obvious common sense kicking in.

You'll regret it in the morning.

I don't know why i'm so compelled sometimes to read comments. It's just that this website is so damn addictive when it comes to news, and it always seems to be the bleeding edge of gaming news.

Besides, it's not like I can talk to my wife about format wars and console wars. She could care less. So instead I push my opinion on you guys.

I see the problem with your picture, but what's wrong with mentioning advantages of the service you offer? Wouldn't that be common sense?

More of a reminder of the best thing about PSN. They really don't spread the word enough.

This should be in big bold letters on the box of each PS3. FREE ONLINE.

There are too many people ignorant to the fact of some of the advantages of the PS3. Too bad blu-ray isn't as easy to explain.

If I had the choice I would probably go with the one that offers custom soundtracks. Soundtracks are really important to me as far as racing games are concerned.

Just my take on it. If you do get it on PS3 add me to your friends list because I'll definitely be looking for some people to drive off cliffs with.

Take that RIAA.

If anybody cares, a great website for Divx is joox.net. They have a lot of stuff there including full movie downloads.

The only reason I'm pretty confident about that is because the first one did too with an expansion pack. It will probably be about a year later though.

And I have no doubt the sequel will deliver too. It's one of a few gems that really makes you think about how differently you are going to play the second time before you even complete it once. The Lost Chapters expansion on PC added even more to the game. I'll definitely be picking this one up when it comes out on PC.

I bought Lair the first day it came out, and I played it completely through. I also returned the game within a week. Sorry bud, but that's about all the game is good for. Like you said, it makes a great little tech demo for the Sixaxis and that's it.

Don't jump to conclusions so fast. People are entitled to their own opinion and I thought the game was horrible. I'm glad you liked it, but you should lighten up. Don't take posts so personally, okay?

And I can see why it's selling like crazy. It's a lot of factors really, but I think the biggest is that Nintendo shows off their product as being kid-friendly.

Parents eat stuff like the Wii up every day and I can see why from a personal perspective. Parents will do anything to get what their kids want, as long as what their kids want is reasonable, and the Wii hits the mark in every way possible.

As sub-par as the graphics are, and as horrible as the third-part...

We will never see anything to convert your own songs into playable Rock Band tracks. There is too much profit in it.

And seriously, who is surprised by EA being the first to get excited about the possibility to charge customers for more?

I looked over it but didn't get much. Is this an alternative to TVersity?

It looks fantastic in the trailers and screenshots, but so did Lair. I would just rather have low expectations for a game and be pleasantly surprised when it turns out to be great rather than believe all of the hype and be seriously disappointed after spending $60 on it.

It does look REALLY good though. I just want to see how they handle the online aspect of the game because considering the FPS I've bought lately, that's the saving grace. UT3 singleplayer is dull and monotonous...

In fact, in the very first issue of Playstation: The Official Magazine, the lead creator of the Eye mentioned this. He also talked of being able to play games like this. One of the things he also talked about was a glove device with sensors on each fingertip to help the Eye track movements more precise for applications such as this.

I know it sounds weird and far fetched, but it wasn't that long ago when Sony applied for a patent involving a glove with "motion sensing"...

Don't buy Mesmerize. It's only two bucks but sadly it's not even worth that. Eyecreate is the best Eye software yet. Eye of Judgment is awesome, but not everyone cares for that stuff.
