I'm tired of caring about console sales, and I feel the new 360's have gotten to a much better reliability point. This site took control of my gamer instincts. As much as I love my PS3, I can't let some dumb console war make me forget why I'm here in the first place.
I love video games, and I shouldn't feel some sort of dedication to one specific console. Other people on here should realize the same thing, because we're here because we love games, not consoles.

Companies who get comfortable in the front seat don't stay there for long.
Sony needs to do everything in their power to get more consoles in homes, and if they can afford a price drop, then they should do it. Even $50 would be great. Not every price drop has to be $100. They've got to find a way to keep this momentum going, and if Home isn't coming out anytime soon (who knows), a price drop would really help.
Already confirmed that MGO will be a part of MGS4, at least, they are one and the same game that is.
It was about two months ago. Not only was it the main story on the cover, it also said the two games were the same in the story which was about six pages long.
The game rocked on it's initial launch, and while add-on content would be great, he should save some single-player action for the sequel.
This game definitely deserves a sequel.
Nintendo went for the gusto because they had to take a chance.
They dove straight into social gaming, sacrificing everything that wasn't needed (HDTV, great processing) to deliver a great social gaming experience with a gimmick that hooks people.
Sony, while maybe having intentions of giving social games to their customers, still require customers to pay that little extra for some bells and whistles that just aren't needed (needed for a social experience).

But at least you guys have universal healthcare. Something desperately needed in the U.S.
And as far as gas goes, yes. Yes, you do get ripped off. I always thought I was getting ripped off severely everytime I paid twice as much for a liter of gas than I would a gallon in the U.S.
On topic, does the 360 with HDMI ports sale in Europe yet? That was the kind I got, and it was also the only kind with the packaged games.
I'm dying for more info about it.
But that's only because the Euro is stronger than the American dollar. When I was overseas in countries that used the Euro, let's say Italy for example, things cost pretty much the same if the value of each currency isn't taken into consideration.
When I was in England, candy bars were 1 pound and beers were about 2 pounds and 50 pence (on average from what I can remember). Also, when you think about in terms of value of currency, that also means that if you want to think like ...
That was my favorite part of the video. I wish all FPS and TPS had destructible environments that looked that good.
The water looked really good too. I'd like to see what it would look like if you shot something in the water and it exploded with those effects.
Sounds like a ton of fun.
I would have a lot more fun actually making a game than playing others, but that's just me. Hopefully a lot of people will try out XNA now because an opportunity to get your creation out to millions should never be missed.
That was actually a huge dream of mine growing up. My first thoughts and ideas were about a 2d fighter based on the Star Wars universe. We had drawn up backgrounds for it and everything. We had it all planned out.
Didn't mean to reply. Great post though!
Honest question and please don't take offense if i'm wrong.
Are you Lightning/PS3 Limps on and on? I only ask because until about a week ago a lot of your comments seemed to be negative towards the PS3.
On topic though. sales for the PS3 will only get better now that blu-ray is an even bigger factor. This takes out the need for a price cut for a while (I know that sucks), but as it stands, the PS3 is one of the cheapest blu-ray players out there. Also, it is by f...
That's hilarious!
Wait. No it's not. It's not funny at all.
An initial release of an XBox 360 with an internal HD-DVD player also used for games. It probably wouldn't have made the price too much more and there would have been millions of HD-DVD players in the wild before the PS3 even hit the shelves.
I think it could have been a completely different story had that happened.
That's the first thing I think about when people get their panties in a twist because we're upset it's not out yet.
Some people keep saying "Sony never promised you this! They never even mentioned it!"
Yes. Yes they did.
And the pictures of that presentation are still etched in my mind today, only because I want it so badly, especially the in-game messaging.
That comma between people and he needs to be replaced with a period. Also, capitalize the H in he and the A in actually. You should be good to go on correcting people after that.
I'm just making a point here. It's okay to make grammatical mistakes in the comment section. I'm sure your English teacher will live.
Let's hope they can keep the ball rolling, because if they make anything as good as Monsters, I'm a guaranteed buyer.
Are you kidding me?
I don't even know what to say to that.
When you realize how many great games you can get for less than $10.
I had to settle for an Arcade, but i'm looking for a hard drive on ebay right now.
