A coworker of mine actually bought a new 360 for his brother's birthday, and swapped his old one out for the new one with the HDMI connection.
That is low. I gave him such a guilt trip that he finally called his brother and told the truth.

Of all of the unfortunate features you mention being taken away, none of them are really anything useful as far as owning a PS3 is concerned. The only real positive is the extra 20Gb but even that plus is negated when you can replace the entire thing with an even larger drive.

I saw that one and I looked specifically at that one to see if it was coming to the PS3. It only said PC/360.
I hope I am wrong though, because the presentation for it at E3 looked fanf**kingtastic.

I thought this could have been a guy I worked with.
