But you also can't deny that a lot of ground has been made up by Sony. Imagine if the PS3 was still $600. No one would be buying it.
I know the figures for the end of the year are brutal as far as sales for the PS3 is concerned compared to the 360 and wii, but I guess I'm a glass half full guy because I see a lot of progress.
Sony screwed up the launch of the PS3. It's hard to deny that. The $600 figure was the worst part of it all. But, a lot of ground has been ...
The PS3 should have in-game messaging. I'm a PS3 fanatic and even I know that. And while I know it does in SOME games, it should be able to in all.
I do know what you're getting at though. I love everything it's capable of and not a day goes by when I don't turn on my PS3 to use it for something.
One thing I would really love would be for Sony to expand printer support. I would love to connect to my photo printer via bluetooth and print out photos on my PS3 wirel...
It definitely blows away the 5 year console lifespan theory. 5 years might be the max for us fanatics, but apparently Sony found an untapped resource with the PS2. Casual gamers and people who can't afford 360's and PS3's eat up the PS2 purely because of price alone. And i'm betting it really helps Sony make up ground for all the money lost releasing the PS3 at such a reduced price.
Why?
Because the CAPS didn't bother me. What's wrong with that? As long as your article isn't all caps in the title, then there's no problem with it. Someone else's personal opinion doesn't mean it wasn't fine to begin with.
And in all honestly, it's going to be a long time before that ever changes, purely because of install bases. I can't think of any other logical reason than that because I really don't buy masses of people buying the PS3 solely as a blu-ray player.
I think one thing that helped 360 titles sell so well was the spacing of the releases. It seemed that in the last 4 months, one great game was released about every month, and that's affordable for most gamers.
On the ...
That actually provided good arguments. He really tried to hold in his love for HD-DVD but every once in a while it would show only because he thought it was a better product.
This game is great and games don't need to have a 9 to be great. This is turning into a sad trend because a lot of people value games now based on a number assigned by someone other than themselves.
I know IGN is one of the most well respected reviewers, but it's more important to actually read the pros and cons rather than just depend on a number for considering purchase.
Also, anyone that played the demo should know that this will be an awesome game.
But I for one welcome change. In fact, I don't think the online would be as much fun if the maps were restrictive.
I'll be buying this on the 22nd.
Anybody else buying it be sure to add me, PSN-EZCheez, because I want to be a part of some online CARNAGE! Which makes me think recording videos of your game would make this even bigger.
He's just kidding. Apparently sarcasm has a hard time shining through a keyboard. Seriously, look at his avatar.
You guys do get WAY too defensive sometimes.
Who finds the picture for this story ironic?
I thought you meant it came up before you even entered the game.
Sounds pretty cut and dry then that you downloaded a bad mod. Not a big deal at all. I can tell you of a few clean ones that I have, specifically Action Cam (third person mutator) that are safe to download.
How many mods did you have installed? I only ask because I was wondering if you could possibly name them so others could know what to steer clear of. I definitely want to keep from downloading wh...
I've never heard of the PS3 telling you what errors caused it to freeze after you restart. Are you positive that's the order it happened in? When your PS3 does freeze, is it during the game or while you are installing mods?
And as far as the crashing is concerned, you might want to delete your mods and reinstall one at a time while testing each one out specifically. The mods aren't exactly perfect, hence the newer versions of a lot of mods on UT3MOD.com.
Lastly, ...
100 Gamestop employees will now have signed copies.
If that EVER happens, it would kill the downloadable content for the game, and in turn would kill A LOT of profits for Harmonix and EA. I don't want to be negative because that would be awesome, but I just don't see it ever happening.
If Harmonix ever released it, I would mail them a check of $50 out of sheer gratitude for making a game that I would probably play until I died (or until I couldn't press the kick pedal, whichever comes first).
Alanis Morissette
You ought to know.
I don't see either Bioshock 2 or Mass Effect 2 coming out in 2008.
I mean, there's only one Insomniac.
Because it's not possible in the U.S.
EDIT-Disagree all you want, it still isn't even close to feasible in the U.S. All channels that are broadcast over the air (channels PLAYTV is made for) in the U.S. are local channels. If that's what you want then go ahead but you'll only be getting about 10-15 local channels and none of them will be HD.
But I'm thinking 2008 will be even better.
A list of the things I will be doing in 2008.
1.Finishing the last MGS game (epic)
2.Creating my own levels in LBP
3. Killing a lot of Helghast
4.Playing 60-player online BATTLES and 8 player coop
5.Playing the next Final Fantasy (always epic)
6. Amassing a caravan of cars and racing in 60FPS 1080p (putting my tv to good use)
And wh...
Seahawks.
I'm thinking it will go down like this
GB-24
SEA-21
And has support for 7 years (which I have no doubt in my mind will happen)
Then I know my investment will have been worth it.
