I went to Wal-Mart and picked up some material called "foamie" paper which just so happened to come in a red, blue, yellow and green sheet package that cost only $4.50. The material almost completely mutes the sounds and doesn't effect hits registering at all.
Only buy stuff like this if you're really lazy or cannot cut a circle.
So i'm guessing they might end up at $30 once it comes to the U.S. $20 for Folklore and Ninja Gaiden Sigma (the ones I don't own that I would like to) would just be too sweet.

Concerning Blu-ray and HD-DVD:
WilliamRLBaker-"I own neither format and never will DVD works fine for me."
Which is it man? PLEASE stop talking as if you own a PS3 because you keep contradicting yourself on this website.
I'm paid by Insomniac to hype their games specifically.
Any pro Sony comments from me on this site cost Kaz $50.
Just kidding by the way.
And you're absolutely right trancefreak. Competition makes better and cheaper products. When that happens, we all win.
I could call myself "Wakeboarding Guy" and give factless information all while trying really hard to sound like I actually know what i'm talking about.
All the while all I would really be doing is reading N4G news and making unfounded guesses and horrible rumors.
EXACTLY what the competition offers and what most of the community wants. Hence the private poll for G.A.P members asking what was more important to them to have access to in-game.
If anything Sony might copy the "mini-dash" concept and give it a PS3 look. If that's what it takes, then so be it. That's exactly what I want.
I want this to be great when it's finally released, but the wait is killing me.
I just wish they wouldn't announce stuff so early. It wouldn't bother so bad if it hadn't been announced almost 1 YEAR AGO.
1.Pages of comments=LAME. I know it probably cuts down on loading but I hate it.
2.No home tab with all of the most current news. I might only own a PS3 but that doesn't mean I don't want to hear news about other consoles.
I chose Gamer but my default comment section was in the open sections. I didn't even notice I was commenting in the wrong section until I saw the options at the top.
Did you pick the gamer or open zone? I picked gamer but for some reason I'm thinking I will miss the insanity of open discussions, no matter how crazy the comments.
I haven't noticed all of the differences yet, but it definitely looks great!
I hesitantly downloaded it, like I always do, and i'm glad I did. It's an awesome game and has a lot more depth than I thought it would.
It's definitely not for everyone though. This isn't exactly intense. It's a lot of strategy so i'm sure a lot of people might not go for it. Still an awesome game though.
If it does, it will be a lot easier to talk family into buying one. I might just buy one for some of my family since it's tax return time.
When I first got my motorola headset, I pressed the connect button for the initial setup. Now all I ever do is turn it on and off by flipping open the boom, and when I turn it on, it reconnects automatically (slowly, but automatic).
Anyone here play COD4 much? You can't get people to shut up! Sometimes I wish it was quiet so I could focus a little more on the game instead of trying to not hear the idiot with his radio on in the background or the a-hole talking smack the ENTIRE time.
Seriously though, I have plenty of friends online who I talk to somewhat frequently so I must be in the minority here.
By the way, anyone here with Burnout feel free to add me so I can play people who actually w...
I mean it's not like Microsoft or Sony are actually doing anyone a favor by offering it because we'll all be paying for it in the end anyway.
And as far as the $50 million Microsoft put towards making it happen, I almost guarantee they will make it all back when they charge for the DLC. It's a smart move if you think about it. They have "paid for" exclusive content that the consumers will end up paying for in the end.
One million people got smart and bought one of the best games of 2007, and the best game made so far on the PS3 (personal opinion).
If anything, this game deserves better sales. I know 1 million is great, but in my opinion. this game deserves a lot more.
If we see a $299 PS3 within the next month, we will have one thing to thank for it. The PS2. Like it or not, it's the saving grace for Sony and it's still a force to be reckoned with.
The PS2 is probably single-handedly making up a LOT of lost ground spent getting the PS3 up to speed. I love my PS3 and all, but I hate that it started off with a $600 price point. Not that it wasn't worth it (was for me), but a lot of people couldn't afford it whether they wanted it or not.
What are they talking about? I won't bother making a list because I'm too lazy, but there are PLENTY of exclusives and last I saw the list was doing the exact opposite of "dwindling."
