And it's all redundant. Games were 60 dollars in 2008. Account for inflation the equivalent value in 2025 would be 88.53 dollars. So if anything games have gone down in value in real terms.
Sony will probably take a loss on ps6 units and sell it for like 700 to make money back on games. People need to remember the PS3 was 499 and 599 that's like almost 1000 dollars in 2025 money accounting for inflation.
I'm not arguing specifically about Nintendo here. I'm arguing more generally that whilst I like cheaper stuff games have gone from 60 quid in 2008 to 70-80 quid now. In reality 60 quid in 2008 is worth 88.53 in 2025. That's on real terms a slight drop in value then. My point Is 80 quid games isn't actually unreasonable I agree it's an issue that Nintendo games never seem to drop in price. I don't understand how they don't tbh.
I think if you actually sat down and did the maths you'd realise that inflation being what it has been. The price increases represent erg little change if any in the value of the game. This is during a period where development costs have spiralled.
If you adjust the OG switch for inflation you get roughly the switch 2 prices
There is straight up no way it's profitable not without some seriously dubious exclusion of Dev costs of first party games being developed for it.
I don't understand everyone's logic. So obviously I:D rather pay less bot more for games but equally I recognise that games cost more than ever before to make, add to that quite high inflation in recent years compared to relatively low inflation mate 99s and 2000s means whilst it used to take years for the real term value of the game to have increased it now doesn't doesn't take so long. So for starters back when games were 50 quid early in PS3 era. Roughly 2% inflation would ...
No, currently there are a number of digital only titles you can buy a boxed version of but inside there is just a digital key you input. The carts that that contain a keh are to replace these titles. It means that the game isn't locked to your account and actually gives people the ability to buy digital only titles and trade them in still and people buy them second hand.
Anti
They gonna give people refunds too then?
They have totally different studios to work on each one so in theory they are being developed independently unlike Witcher 3 - cyberpunk 2077
Second game was subject to loads of cuts which is why the story feels off I think. https://youtu.be/VEONGKG1gL...
First spidermans writing was fine, second hand some points where it could have been better and based on the leaks due to the hack alot of content for cut for whatever reason. Had it managed to stick to the story that was originally written without the sometimes frankly weird changes that were made - it would have been much better written.
It won't my understanding of how this will work is that the physics and stuff like how you interact with items will be handled by creation engine still but the graphics rendering will be unreal engine. So ES6 will just have new version of creation with updated graphics rendering capabilities. It makes sense. Doing it this was with UE only really makes sense for a remake as they can still use the core physics engine from the OG game and that will help solve loads of dev time.
Rechargeable battery - lol wow 20 years late to that party .... As for haptics considering how good they are in the dualsense I figured this was kinda a given. Sony I'm sure will add features to it's next controller too though, mind. Be interesting to see.
Oh god the idea that the shitty base building mechanic might return to fill in for actual content in the game world sounds awful. Please leave that in fallout....
The history modes came after and we're totally seperate from the games narrative etc. they were purely educational historical tours using the games assets essentially..
Ok so this headline is as misleading as they get. The game is still clearly going to be a playstation timed exclusive. He is referring to if it will be next gen only or cross-gen.
The ps6 is coming end of 2027.
How has it flopped it apparently represented 70% of all ps5 sales in November and December....
This is if it's real elderscrolls 4 remake would be great. Do wish they'd just reveal it already if it exists.
