Look leaks suggest he is actually the primary player character but that marketing will spend alot of time trying to downplay that.
In principle there's nothing wrong with this. In reality this game struggles at times on the ps5, now with better optimisation that probably shouldn't be the case but then to go from there to running onnthe switch 2 which is similar innpower to a base ps4.... it is going to run like shit.
It's simple really and always has been, you play on pc expect to need more expensive higher end hardware otherwise you might aswell get a console....
Wasn't 3 a ps4 title though? Whereas this is a current gen only one.
You realise thos indicates that their next xbox will be an xbox branded pc right? And will cost pc prices as a result. So look forwards to a 600 dollar and 1000 dollar version with vast performance differences, with the upper range having similar performance to the ps6 that will be like half its price. The 800 dollar rog ally x makes this abundantly clear.
Except if they do that, they can't really be subsidising the cost of the hardware because the whole business model is you do that and make the money back on the 30% of all game sales. Without that the hardware will cost a fair bit more...
I don't know ow what they thought would happen. I think most subscribers subscribe for a month or two then cancel until the next game they want to play on the service arrives. Part of the problem is games take up way more time to play than watching a film or even a TV show does and you can't really do other things whilst gaming. So the value of gamespass is incredibly limited. Most people with full jobs may take 2 + months to play larger games. I'm which case it's often approa...
Tha ia great bt really there's 0 point comparing a console releasing now to when they released during a pandemic.....
I hope Sony has taken note though so that cone ps6 and im guessing their handheld ps5 probably next year, they know how best to deal with scalpers....
Thry don't buy games hardly at all anymore. It won't sell well. Will likely leave square Enix scratching their heads and thinking "oh shit, maybe taking money and dev assistance from Sony for it to be exclusive is the better financial move after all"
I'd say bond looks to be more action stealth espionage where as hitman is stealth action
Both of which I'd argue are in many ways inspired by the bond films/games of the past. Especially some aspects of uncharted which basically draws from any action film/game it can.
Indeed, I know they have refused to reveal the actor playing bond so far but people have worked out who it most likely is. He's 30 years old. Wold be very interesting if he was now revealed to be the new love action bond given the uy it appears to be is a live action film/tv actor.
They were literally showing off the fact it seamlessly can transition from gameplay to ctsceme those aspects of presentation were clear cutscenes....
I know it has been suggested they'll be able to have their own bond just for the games and I'm not sure how I feel about that tbh. I woukd prefer it if this signified that we are about to get a reveal of the next 007 actor and he is used as the model for bond in these games tbh. Or they presented the game but make it clear the model for bond is a placeholder.
There might be something to this equally it could easily just be a few disgruntled former employees. There's really not enough to go on.
Not really. If steam is on xbox ma loses its cut on games sold on the hardware cos no way steam is sacrificing theirs they got no reason to. That means console business model is broken. So you get pc prices for decent hardware or underpowered hardware.
They'll come with pc hardware prices though...
You realise you can have both on the story right?
So i bought it on ps5 and I've enjoyed it somewhat but nowhere near as much as I enjoyed the previous 2 titles. It honestly feels like a step backwards from eternal. Glory kills aren't as good, there are less guns/variety due to the lack of the secondary fire used to great effect in both the previous titles. The shield saw is a nice touch but it kinda reduced the emphasis on guns....its nice to see the story they alluded to through code's in eternal though.
Not really, movies that have similar budgets have the box office where if they arent a flop- they typically make all their money back or a profit. Movies have a much wider audience. Games however just have that release and have a smaller market.
