There's an error here. In the article it claims that Microsoft making zenimac titles exclusive wasn't anti-connoetitive according to the eu. That is NOT what the eu said at all. The EU said that in the case of zenimax they did not consider it to be of significant harm to industry or competition if Microsoft made their titles exclusive after the acquisition. Because it was on ps4 aswell and the gsme needs those things to have time to load on the older hardware. Beyond impressive it even runs on ps4 tbh.

There's literally a video on IGN of an expert in norse mythology going through the games story beats and discussing their authenticity snd moat of the time his general view is that its an interesting take thst isn't inaccurate but is also pretty unique in how its interpreter and represented things

It is. Microsoft is clearly using same tactics it used against netsoft in 90's and many other companies. Giving stuff away for free or dirt cheap and eating the losses in order to acquire market share from which they can dominate and bleed a competitor out
They tried this abd they didn't sell and lost money on them and in sony's eyes lowered their brands pedigree by getting lower review scores.
That is the perfect example. Their tactic there of market share above all else abd cutting off revenue to netscaoe by giving away Internet explorer free or at almost no cost - are the exact tactics they are using with gamespass. It isn't even subtle.
I mean its down to the developer if they have an inspiration and it ties into their story and ultimately fits within the world they envisaged then it really shouldn't matter too much if its diverse (in terms of race/skin colour of characters or not).
My favourite was the TV show that made Anne boleyn (one of King Henry 8th's wives) a black woman (in their own words to make a 'statement') and then made a point if making it centre of marketing etc. Shame really because as you may suspect people assumed the show was historically inaccurate nonsense claiming to be historical and as I understand it didn't watch it and it bombed but I heard it was actually a good show otherwise.
