Literally impossible. The limit is the speed of light in a fibre and that has a finite limit.

Sony haven't purchased any developers ti date they have not been doing the same thing. The smaller deals for timed exclusivity are just that vastly smaller deals and thus not really comparable. Was nothing stopping MS competing using those tactics oh except ofc MS themselves adopting an unsustainable business model aimed only at ending their competition, that canibalises their games sales meaning the only way they can get 3rd party exclusives is fully fund their developmen way more than t...

Problem is that investment is needed again to actually keep those acquisitions releasing games.

Thrh bought so many studios I wouldn't even be surprised if that's true but the thing is gamespass appears to have hit a ceiling as to how many people are willing to subscribe to it at any one time hence such little growth in subs. It was inevitable. Those gsmes don't pay for themselves and more than r games a year (with COD being one) isn't economical infact I'd argue with budgets of 300-500 million each it isn't economical once you factor in costs for 3rd party games...

I'm unconvinced not because I think this guy doesn't know what he's generally talking about but because he may be forgetting that in the case of the ps5 it has variable clock rates. The max the gpu can run at isn't typically what it will be running at. Pretty sure the series s and x have slightly different clock speeds aswell. My point is, if the clock speeds change moment to moment anyway because it is variable and based on power profiles as cerny explained in his gdc present...

Thst isn the issue here. Thr issue ws the secret deals Google was doing to lower its cut for certain big apps publishers and only them and the fact that a requiremenf for said deals was nof helping epic games sefup its own mobile store.

Factions 2 was never formerly announced. We don't even know what it's called. Death stranding 2 isn't sony's game they are just publishing it, kojimas decision when he announces it plus its been 1 year. Wolverine will likely have been 3-3.5 years. Still awhile but nowhere near the 5-6 year waited we have had for MS games.

@obscure_observer apparently we have a moron in the house. Confirming that you likely will make a sequel at some point isn't the same...

By it's release we'll be looking at like 3 years probably. Maybe 3.5.

Well it's a valid discussion. Microsoft ALWAYS has their logo and gamespass logo on the end of trailers they even had it on other trailers in this show- Senua for instance. However nothing here and when asked directly by journalists bethesda's response has been "no comment" that seems a little odd to me. I wonder if due to low numbers of cbox consoles (around 21 million in total) and the complete lack of profitability that games pass brings to a game like this if Disney pull...

You are a fucking moron. How much does MS charge? 30% steam? 30% Google and apple? 30%. Without that the business simply isn't viable. Gsmes pass doesn't make a profit and destroys the value if gsmes that's why MS is having to literally buy publishers to get their gsmes on there but longer term they either cut down the games they make, Nicole and dime everyone one with gaas microtransactions on every fucking game, or make less games. It's basic maths. So all a lawsuit like th...

Except those typically never decrease in price. You go try and buy a digital code of agame that's on sale on Nintendo store or ms store and it'll still be full price. You can buy top up cards and ps plus subs on cards. Tell me can you buy apps, gsmes, music off apples store via codes? Or the oogle store via codes for individual items? No.

I respect him brining it up but the reality is that games industry like other creative industries has always been this way. Unlike say movies game development is more open ended and doesn't have such clear cut deadlines like a movie's filming process does. A game starts with few developers working on it, has to pass various stages of development and be Greenhithe by those funding it and then it ramps up production for several years with massive teams of people. Once that is over it mi...

Arkham Knight has some frame issues and texture are as you'd expect but the batmobile stutters alot and framerste is dire during these sections.

Yeah Sony supported it, people didn't buy it so they tapered off support but they were supporting it immediately after launch.

Actually hybrid gsmes that can work both in vr and out of VR are the best bet alongside bespoke VR games Sony have published quite a few VR games this year and have gathered a decent amount if support.

@JackBNimble no they did not remaster tkou 1 again they remade it from the ground up. Its a complete overhaul. Required way, way more work than simply remastering something which a small team can do in a reasonable time frame. In some instances literally a ha dull of people.

Remaster, game of the year edition whatever you want to call it. It's native ps5, has a 10 quid upgrade a bunch of new content thst make it more than worth the upgrade.

@Obscure_observer no he announced his retirement and ceded decision making to the man that will be succeeding him for a year or so whilst they determine who will takeover permanently. This makes sense because why have someone who is tying up loose ends and leaves in 4 months time be making big decisions about stuff 6,12, 24 months away? It's not evidence he got fired.

I don't like the MS deal and I have to say I agree. I've been playing it and I'm utterly perplexed by the vitriol. Like you don't get tk review it way higher than it should have been getting reviewed for years theb complain about all the stuff you encouraged with your prior reviews and with money. Ign giving it lower than gollum really was a pisstake imo.
