Has it they have just under 30 million gamespass subscribers across pc and console and xcloud streaming to other devices. They've sold about 22.3 million s and x combined as of June (month 32, the xbox one is believed to have sold about 22.6 million units in its first 32 months so its actually a smaller console player base than last gen.
It's pretty simple maths. We have most of the costs or a good idea of them thanks to all the leaked documents and the court case etc. We know that gamespass isn't profitable. We know that most publishers don't want their flagship titles on a streaming service day 1 unless reimbursed full dev costs+ some profit by the platform holders because they know there is more money to be made in selling the title conventionally.
OK a) this assumes even half of ehaf xbox has announced will release lol which based on their track record it probably won't. We know from financial earnings call at end of last quarter that sony had to delay multiple forst party titles that started development early in the pandemic. Pandemic hit games in many ways for Sony it seems to have hit games due to start development hardest abd is whybwe have this year or so of not all that much. Next year does seem to be a pretty quiet year so ...
No he hasn't you are all full of shit. The vast majority if GAAS titles are from new partnerships and new studios they acquired specifically to make them. Sony considers the term GAAS to apply more broadly than most other companies anyway.ghost of Tsushima counted as one with its multiplayer mode, gram turismo counted. Both were excellent games that could be played solo and without spending a penny on anything after purchase.
Look at their history. They claim to have hacked a number of companies and yet not a single piece of legit data has come from them. Now like moat ransom ware attackers they aren't actually hackers anyway. Ransomware relies upon someone accidentally downloading their software then it locks you out of your devices usually. That's about it. Nah they are full of shit.
"He's an innovative developer working on a completely new experience leveraging the cloud" -translates to: its something new he is trying out, there's a pretty high chance it may not work (as with most of nicrosofts "leverages rhe cloud" features in their games like crackdown 3. And as such may well never release. Spencer doesn't want to give more details becauae he knows full well if it ends up not working and is cancelled it's easier to just let it fade i...
They are full of shit. 6000 files lol
There is no way in hell square is putting it on gamespass. They need it to make money your attitude is actually why I'd ve surprised to see it ever release on xbox unless MS are willing to oay a couple of hundred million upfront for it.
Ff16 sold faster than almost any other ff game. I that a higher attwch rate than ff7 remake and reviewed incredibly well. They aren't going to deviate from the trajectory they are on which has been a long time coming.
It did meet sales expectations ffs the exact quote was "it didn't quite meet the highest projections but it did meet expectations and had a higher attach rate than ff7 remake part 1. They'll put it on ps plus around pc release for another wad of cash from Sony and kt'll pretty easily hit the 10 million overall sales by about Xmas. It's gotta be on 5 million maybe more.
They have literally said jts made them a profit.
Literally not what they said, infact they said the exact opposite. They said ff16 had sold well and met expectations given the install base of ps5. It had a higher attach rate than ff7 remake part 1.
Cyberpunk ran alright on ps5 and presumeably xbox series x too. The unplayable version was last gen.
@ravens52 I would probably give it a 7.5/10 maybe a 7.8. But a 7/10 is a solid good game in my scale none of this "8 or higher or it means its shit" nonsense.
Yes, I'm really enjoying it but that doesn't change the fact thst this is the case and is the honest truth.
Almost certainly. 6 million unique players apparently. At least 1 million bought early access. With 25 million gamespass subscribers.... that's really not many people. Not when you consider steam consecutive players indicates that probably in the region of 2 million people bought the game overall.
What are you on about you fool. Video game developments is nore expensive than ever. Those tools cost money to develop. Moat bug games now take larger teams than ever before considerably longer than ever before to be made due to their complexity.increased resolution and such means increased costs aswell and much if the streamlining has been almost undone by advances in the games in terms of graphics and size etc. You would only have a point were devs still making ps2 era games in terms of gra...
This. Ps plus was about 40 quid a year a decade ago. In that time here in the uk we have had several years of about 2% inflation followed by almost 3 years of increased inflation now certainly 2 years at or around the 8-10% mark. So actually an increase to 60 pounds a year for the base (about 30% increase) isn't actually unreasonable. Considering what you get in terms of monthly free games etc it's bit bad. The offering if titles on ps plus extra is great too for 100 pounds a year. Bo...
with GPU's costing as much as they do? I dunno...
More likely they will put microtramsactions into everything, everything will have a battlepass abdbbe designed to be a grind to keep you subseciedod.
