Not really games been out 3 days at this point. Two days of playing ut- as its your job. A day of writing the review if even that.
Last I heard NO ONE got review codes.
They didn't send review copies to anyone last I heard.
Having been playing it, if younthinnthe graphics are bad you need to go see an opticians ASAP cos your eyes are fucked.
No ofc not.
It's in preproduction then, full development phase typically lasts about 2-3 years so 2027-2028.
All of those gsmes had a solid base upon which to build. Having played the alphas etc for skull and bones the gameplay loop just isn't there. Too many core gameplay features are missing like the ability to board ships and melee combat on foot of any kind.
How about gsmes with a decent amount of solid content then solid content post release to keep the game going? If they can pull that off it'd be great right?
Dw this won't be happening. Their only franchise realistically that has a chance at that is the division.
I played the alpha, fact you can't board ships or combat on land as an actual pirate leaves this game dead in the water. Its gonna release and sink.
I think the point is, ost companies don't.
Sony isn't making out anything. They are just saying "here is your money back". It's the public saying it'd a great thing because people recognise that they were not legally obliged todo anything.
There was no legal action that could successfully be taken against them. They announced that if you owned the ps4 version at LAUNCH there would be an upgrade path. They then listed the game for preorder on the store. If you went through and purchased it then you knowingly agreed to the higher price (it's what is known as an offer by a seller, accepting it is the same as agreeing to a contract for sale). By going through, clicking purchase and putting in your psn password etc you are knowi...
@InUrFoxHole um what? Crappy story? There may be decisions made by the writers, aspects of the story that you don't like (I know I certainly don't) a particular aspect of thebplot that you may even feel amounts to bad writing in many ways. But that does not mean the plot ie crap. Infact it can still be exceptional and compared to everything else an absolute masterpiece in spite of its flaws.
I mean I was playing originally other day via ps plus streaming, it works really well but having a remastered version would be great.
So Sony first party have been quiet and we only really k own about first 6 months if 2024 at most atm. If I were xbox I'd be worried though, sony using 3rd party plug their gaps. With rumours if next gen xbox hitting in 2026 to try and 1 up Sony I'd be concerned if I were MS I see that being when sony's first partied hit their stride thus gen and then it'll be first party title after title pissing all over miceosofts parade.
Just a shame half of new releases will probably stutter unless you have massive caches because of differences in architecture between console and ocean atm meaning sometimes assets are more directly accessible in memory and mostly because direct x is absolute shit and has serious shader compliation issues associated with it, particularly on oc because the shader complication is different for every different hardware configuration.
It did win something at game awards though as I recall?
I mean generally if I soend more than 100 hours in a game I enjoyed my time playing it else I wouldn't have played it. By the time that 100 hours is up I may be done with the gsme and have had enough. Also giving a game a negative review and not enjoying/liking it isn't the same thing. Just as I can acknowledge a game is a good game and yet not personally feel its for me. I can also have fun with an objectively 'bad' game.
This is why a review should be like 70%...
The writing and story in the game is great...
