I don't think anyone's ever said "but but the Wiimote." I'd imagine they'd be more likely to brag about Super Mario Galaxy or Twilight Princess.
Again with this crap?
Yeah, it's also due to the fact that there's just so much stuff coming out. Might be what I play during mid-to-late December.
Yeah, I am kind of uncertain about the game because it has such a huge scope. I'm sure the first reviews will arrive well before it hits stores, though.
Nope. Still lagging behind a few days. But at least we know that it's done and won't get pushed back again.
Well, fortunately we won't need to find out what happens to our games if Steam shuts down because, well, it probably won't close shop anytime soon. Does give me pause, though. I've been looking at services like GOG that let you download the whole game to your hard drive.
The thing is, I don't get how you're really "locked in" simply because you downloaded a client. It's a bit of an annoyance to have to boot up a game through the Steam client but it doesn't hinder you from using some other similar competing service.
I don't know if it's my favorite but I definitely had some good times with it. Hitman 2 was incredible.
I still think Tier 2 was the best-looking set. One of the few where Paladins didn't look like flamboyant astronauts.
Same. It's been getting decent reviews all around.
Heck, there's probably people out there still playing Battlefield 1942.
Yeah, I definitely think games published by Microsoft will be the ones leading the charge on Natal. Beyond that, though, it'll come down to whether a game is suitable for the technology or not.
I like the idea of a "hybrid" game - using a controller while some secondary movements are handled by Natal - that's been speculated on. Imagine smacking a zombie with the butt of your rifle in Left 4 Dead 3 by swinging your arms.
I'm always surprised that companies have problems with wrestling game controls. They keep trying to reinvent the wheel. That's what I loved about WCW vs NWO Revenge for N64 from back in the day - stupidly simple controls.
Well, it's James Cameron. The guy garners quite a bit of attention considering the sort of stuff he's done (and how much money it's earned).
Well, this game's definitely got a higher profile than previous Schafer outings. He was on Jimmy Fallon last week, after all. It doesn't fit into some traditional genre "box" (shooter, RPG, etc) though so it probably won't burn up the charts.
Revised headline: "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 NVG's being made in cheap Chinese factory...just like everything else you own"
It might only be cosmetic items. Also, it depends whether you'll be able to acquire these items through other means as well (like just earning them in-game through grinding).
Well there's a question: has there ever been a good game based on a movie that was bad? I can't think of one off-hand but there had to have at least been one.
I feel like DJ Hero is at least more distinct than some of the other Hero games they've launched. At least with this one they're trying to branch out rather than simply releasing the same gameplay package with different songs.
