I don't think it's that unlikely to see console games available digitally on day one. It's already pretty common with PC games and console developers are pretty ticked about used game sales.
A SAW game? Oh, the possiblities...
"Tap A to dig the key out of your kidney."
Yeah, it was a bit of a surprise. Still, the game sold ridiculously well.
What about the evil toads from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle cartoon? They were pretty bad-ass.
Good or not, I'm sure the first one made a decent amount of money.
Can't buy a bucket!
A summer price drop would be good timing. Once the new GT and Forza are out, this game's going to be forgotten.
Saving his family actually sounds plausible. Good call.
I think shrinking down a 10+ hour game into a 2 hour movie isn't as hard as you'd expect. Games have a lot of segments that either have no story or have story that's basically irrelevant to the main plot. For example, the God of War film won't need to show Kratos doing puzzles with dead bodies and pressure plates. That'll shave off at least an hour :P
Well, look at it this way: when the only other CGI adult movie people remember is Final Fantasy, it's probably hard to procure funds for a new one.
I'd love to see the folks who made that Jedi vs. Sith trailer for "Star Wars: The Old Republic" make a feature length SW film, though. I'd love to watch 90 minutes of that stuff.
I often wonder why there aren't many CGI films aimed at adults. Then I remember the Final Fantasy movie and it all makes sense. Square lost so much money on that one.
Maybe the movie has a scene where Hades shoots Kratos' partner a day before his retirement.
Took me awhile to finally be able to connect last night but damn it is fun. It obviously doesn't have the amount of maps, weapons, and so forth that a full retail shooter might so I don't know how long I'll keep playing but it's very polished for an XBLA/PSN shooter.
I thought it was a decent story (above average for the genre, really) but the gameplay didn't have that extra hook to pull me in. Once you get over the novelty of playing as a cowboy instead of a space marine, you realize the game's like a lot of other shooters out there.
I had a hard time believing Activision would let them release this without "Call of Duty" printed on the box.
Low subscriber base, I imagine. Tough to ween people off of WoW.
Yeah, the RPG genre could really use another Bloodlines. Another Arcanum, too. That game was like a steampunk Fallout.
Someone is making a World of Darkness MMO, if memory serves.
Wow, people pre-order that far in advance?
I wouldn't be surprised if that was a launch title for Games on Demand, too. Game's been in stores for a long time.
