I'm curious to see whether they add flyable planes into the game or there's just skydiving. Putzing around with a jet in San Andreas was one of the highlights.
Also, CVG gave it a 67. So the reviews are kinda all over the map.
The reviews of Section 8 and GT have different genres, platforms, and possibly writers. Comparing their relative scores is, in a word, silly.
Yep, it's a good one. Did they ever nail down GT5's release?
Yeah, it must not have been terrible if it ran for four years. It seems like they were constantly doing story events so that probably helped maintain a core of dedicated players. The problem with having your MMO grounded in a storyline, though, is that it's less conducive to newcomers (who would probably be a bit lost by what's going on).
Yeah, I keep reading stuff to that effect. I just keep wondering 1) how limited the tools are, and 2) how hard is it to do any sort of meaningful building?
Never tried it but it does sound interesting. I'm not sure I completely understand what it is, though.
You're thinking of Knights of the Old Republic.
Wow, interesting stuff. Thanks for that. I'm fascinated by the notion that they could implement that across a network as vast as Xbox Live.
How would real-time censoring work? Don't they need to do a tape delay on television to bleep curses? Not saying it's impossible - I'm just ignorant about that sort of technology.
I don't know, I've had to mute quite a few people on Team Fortress 2. They've got built-in voice chat, though. One nice thing about PC gaming is that in most games you can manually search for servers so you can actively avoid some places.
I haven't seen the movie but am willing to bet large sums of money that it is terrible.
Save for the really rushed ending, I think the sequel was even better, though. Wasn't a big improvement in mechanics but the writing seemed even sharper. Not many Star Wars games show morality in shades of grey.
I don't get it.
I had heard that the NFL actually approached EA about exclusivity, not the other way around. Probably realized they could charge whatever they wanted for the license.
I guess you forgot about the Top 10 Videogame Asses article...with a separate article for each ass.
Yep, it would be a good idea to give yourself some breathing room with regard to the minimum requirements. Bad framerates are never fun but I imagine they're game-breaking with a racer.
There are plenty of people who actually believe it deserves 9/10 or better. So no, it is not overrated. The implication that a game is overrated always makes me tear my hair out. Someone sat down, played it, and said how much they liked it. How is anyone in a place to say that no, the game you think is great is actually only good?
Infants use N4G? That does explain a few things...
MoTS is only $3. I assume you don't need Jedi Knight II installed to run it?
