Impressive considering the asymmetrical shortage. Nintendo is incredibly lucky from a business standpoint. They're the only console you can go into a store and buy, they've certainly taken advantage of the situation, as they should.
Always loved GT's driving mechanics, can't wait to play.
@sam A noble stance, one that I would share if I didn't realize that 99% of gamers don't care, and therefore my stance will improve or change nothing.
Loved the first one, second was pretty good. Couldn't even get through the third one. Don't have high hopes for 4, but hey, nowhere to go but up hopefully.
Not everyone has a PC, or is interested in playing games on the highest possible settings, and the price point that requires. Furthermore, with Sony at least, not every first party game comes to PC. And even if they did, I'd still get a Playstation for Jrpgs. Also, as has been pointed out, some people don't like waiting "only two years" to play a game when they can play it sooner for cheaper. Need any more reasons? Or are you going to call me "triggered" as well?
I remember playing back in the day, and much like current Diablo 3, class strengths kinda depended on the current update/meta. No clue where this game is at now though, I made a Sorcerer though cause I loved the t-storm, teleport, static, nova/frozen orb setup back in the day, not sure how well any of this works in the current iteration though. Another thing to consider, even with the vastly updated coat of paint, the game plays essentially identical to the original. This isn't Diablo 2 i...
It comes down to personal opinion, unless the score is wildly off the mark, it's conceivable that some people may think the game is significantly better than you do.
While the original was great, the gear and skill system was pretty basic, so this is a welcome addition. Should mesh well with the deep and engrossing combat.
Probably had more to do with them overestimating demand and producing too many. Not only do you have to consider the shortage of the console itself, but the fact the average gamer has no idea what an SSD or an M.2 drive even is, much less the knowledge or confidence to crack open his console and put one in. And yes, economics 101, if the demand is lower than the supply, the price goes down.
More than likely intentionally so, gaming media is basically no different than the CNNs of the "real news" world. At least with Fox and MSNBC, everyone knows what they are, and they don't pretend to be anything different. If you want to be a ragebait factory whose only interest is generating as many clicks as possible, ethics be damned, that's fine, just don't pretend like you're something legit. Part of this is our fault as well, since most people don't make it ...
Hope springs eternal. Especially with some console fans.
The roads and water effect is really good, the other racer models aren't quite on the same level, but still look quite good.
Neither of those games are even trying to look realistic. They have heavy art focus. High quality visuals isn't necessarily tantamount to realism.
"iT's NoT fOr EvErYoNe!!"
I haven't played it, but it is hands down the most gorgeous $40 game I've ever seen. I feel like a lot of people don't know this is $40. Seems like a very promising studio, can't wait to see where they go from here.
@EvertonFC I think even calling it a walking sim is oversimplifying it. The gameplay is tied to the story, you're literally acting out the plot. You're carrying the heaviest load you can across difficult terrain. Bearing your cross if you will, in order to improve a seemingly hopeless world. A timeless story, but an effective one. Rather than disconnect the story from the gameplay, it's all woven together. It's pretty rare to have gameplay mechanics be part of the narrative, u...
I get downvoted for correcting myself? If there wasn't a stupid timer on edit, it would be unnecessary.
I think a lot of popular games are boring. Turns out different people are into different things. Just because you're not into something, doesn't make it bad or boring, that's just you projecting your opinion. I never understood why this game, of all games, caused people to dispense with subjective opinion. It's like they think that if they don't like a game, it must be a terrible game, and the people that do like it are just idiots. Gamers don't need to project their o...

Did CNN write this? I mean, come on, we have eyes.
