Me too, man...me too.
I remember putting hours into certain demos. For some reason the Xenogears demo popped into my head. I don't remember why, but it stuck out to me, got me to buy the game. Which was great, even if I was too young to really appreciate it. I really need to replay that game. Parasite Eve was great too.
Eh, decent. If only there were more competition to incentivize Sony to give better offerings.
Nice, my QN90A just came today and I'm looking for excuses to check stuff out. My last 4k was a Sharp, back when they still made TVs, before they were bought by hisense.
Going to assume this is sarcasm, lol.
Why does all of the Halo coverage seem like advertisements?
Seems more like a digital hangout for you and your friends rather than a proper game, which is not necessarily a bad thing.
Can't help but wonder, what incentive do they have to ever release the game when people keep forking over millions? It's like an MMO in beta, but rather than charge a subscription, they demand millions for the mere distant promise of a full release. Do people really believe in this? Or is it one of those cases where they have to keep shoveling over money to justify crazy financial commitment they've gotten themselves into? Remember when we were told that this game was so advanced ...
*only one available to buy.
You can get these in stores. Walmart had 4 of them on the shelf the other day.
I absolutely loved the game (heresy, I know, sorry). One of the best I've played in years. To be fair, I played it on a capable PC, and only a few months ago, so I didn't have to deal with any of the complaints early players had. The amount of detail they cram into this world is mind boggling, and the art direction is gorgeous. Loved the story as well. Seems like some of the best art comes from the east rather than the west these days.
I'll take it, been wanting to try Godfall.
Better for corporations, as there is more money to be made in the service industry. Better for gamers? Not so sure.
Shift the focus from milking current games to creating new ones.
Why even buy a playstation when you can the games on PC 3-5 years after release??
It's true, a fair bit more setup on the PC end, but once you're setup, you're good to go. Everything is basically plug and play at this point. Without a closed system though, PC will never truly match the simplicity of console.
Cheap and easy, and just fine if you're happy with 3rd place. It's like they've given up trying to compete. Which is bad for all gamers.
Yeah, they make it way too obvious. I know we're not supposed to say it, but everyone knows this is paid PR, right?
C'mon, at least try to try to make it not look obvious.
Enough for what? They have no competition really, yet still manage to pump out great games. These type of pieces feel like they're part of some coordinated campaign, and I'm not so naive to think that those sorts of things aren't happening regularly.
@TheRealTedCruz If someone doesn't like something, or if something is understood to be mediocre, what is the problem with expressing that? Should we just pretend that everything on Xbox is fantastic? Is this what gamers want? Are people really so insecure that it bothers them if someone has a different opinion about a game they like? I just want to enjoy games too, but that doesn't mean I'm going to pretend that every game is great for the purpose of tiptoeing around the feelings ...
