I don't think it's the race that people care about, it's more that they know why it's done.
Okay?
No, not really. They like mobile there I guess. That's not an opportunity for Xbox, Ps5 will still massively outsell Xbox there. Everyone knows this.
I mean, compared to the competition it was an A++. Might not have been your cup of tea, but you can't really deny Sony are killing it. They're obviously going to dominate this generation again, the question is only, by how much.
Yeah, that was probably shoehorned in, but apart from that, looks freaking awesome.
Cool, wasn't expecting that.
Spending money to cheat in a single player game seems silly to me, not sure why anyone would do it, but yeah, and long as they don't lock things behind DLC, I'm not bothered by it. Some games kind of incentivize the game around this, and that is a bridge too far as well, but I've never played a Jrpg that did this, and according to the reviews I've seen, this game doesn't do it either.
@TedCruz *Former award winners/heavy hitters, and while a bunch were acquired, they certainly don't all fit that criteria. Whether they still have that capacity is not only unestablished, but remains to be seen. I'm happy to give the benefit of the doubt, but lets not pretend that they don't have a lot to prove. If you want to make a name for yourself in the big leagues, you gotta do more than just make promises and throw around lots of money, you gotta deliver.
More likely an attempt to increase adoption of their launcher, but sure, I'll take it.
Panam. Had me wrapped around her finger...
Yeah, not wading into this one.
If you look at the library for PSNow vs GP, PSNow is obviously superior. GP gets points for the seemingly endless introductory offers that let you get the service for next to nothing. They're doing this in an attempt to build a base on the service, but the pricing won't last forever. Take temporary pricing out of the equation, and the winner is obvious.
I don't know how you can seriously ask this question without positing the same question to the competition, they don't wanna do that though, which should tell you all you need to know about the writer's motivations.
Something for everyone I guess, lol.
Not sure about this case, but often times, developers with little RT experience, and a wealth of knowledge with traditional lighting methods result in distinctions without a discernable difference. I expect this to change in the coming years, but the tech is still in its infancy, relatively speaking, and not cheap with regard to hardware overhead. When done well, it's amazing. It's not always done well though.
@darth Again, seems like a failure on the part of the developer....I know you wanna cheer for your guys, but if the problem is as described, the blame seems obvious.
What about it disappoints you? I'm not a massive tales fan, but I've played a few. Loved Berseria, and this is looking like I'll feel the same based on the demo at least.
Really pumped for this game, the aesthetic is different, but I like it, the art style is just gorgeous. And it plays like a tales game after trying the demo. Day 1 for me, I love me some Jrpg.
Not sure, but the PS5 version is one of the best looking games I've ever seen. Can't imagine the PS4 will be able to replicate that too closely.
You can just avoid all of the DLC, and I plan to, but the fact that they kinda shove the option in your face so often, not just in the menus, but literally during the game (resting sequences, etc), is a bit glaring, and a bit too far IMO. Doesn't really do much to effect my enjoyment of the game, but I don't like the trend, slippery slope really is a thing.
