I mean, if people give them a pass, and they always do, can you blame them?
So...I was scammed? I haven't actually thoroughly enjoyed the game? It's all in my imagination? All of the negativity about the game is nonsense like this. No one every actually points to any specific complaint or problem, it's always just: "Lulz, it's a broken, unplayable mess!" And it's not, objectively speaking. It may be on last gen consoles, but as I've said, I haven't played those, so I don't care. If this is true, yeah, they probably shouldn...
Absolutely love the game. I play on PC and have hundreds of hours in. One of the best games I've played in years. Didn't play the game originally, because of the smear campaign. I thought: "There's no way there would be this response unless it was actually REALLY bad.", so I ignored the game until a few months ago when I bought it for $20. If it was bad, only 20 bucks, right? So glad I didn't listen to all of the hate. The game world is the most engrossing and detail...
I think it was a bit overrated, but I'd say it least deserves top 30. Not my cup of tea, but it was made well, had a cool premise, and did neat things with physics.
Want something really unpopular? Undertale was boring and dumb.
Lol...what?? Do they think gamers are stupid?
They haven't updated their bio yet? SCANDAL!
Keep the establishment out of gaming. They've destroyed everything else, don't let them ruin gaming.
It's definitely a noticeable improvement, but I wouldn't say it's the night and day difference that 30-60 is, due to diminishing returns and the limitations of the human eyeball, lol. Definitely ideal for face paced games like Doom though for sure.
Nice to see the continued support, such a beautiful game.
Play it on PC. Game is great. The angry mob doesn't represent reality. The response to the last gen version, which probably shouldn't have been released, has been imposed on the entire release. If I play it on PC, and it's amazing, it doesn't matter, because the mob has canceled the game, a shame. It feels like most of the people trashing the game haven't even tried it.
Unless raytracing is a big concern, you might as well, assuming you can get one at or close to MSRP.
How about offering them to gamers? Also, 3070 and 3080? I thought it was tough to get a ps5, that was child's play compared to the 3000 series GPUs.
@Dab Oh, the new Bravely game, fair point, forgot about that, and Disgaea, yes, but from what I've heard that's a bit of a step down, and barely playable unless you're using performance mode (and tbf, the game IS on playstation 4 in Japan, but considering the lukewarm reception, I'm not confident about a western port). Old school ports I'm less concerned with because I can just emulate them. And yes, SMT, a series that I'm completely unfamiliar with despite being a mas...
Didn't take long for this comment either. Not sure how it's relevant though, perhaps if PS5 and PS5 games weren't selling like hotcakes, there would be something negative to extrapolate from it, but alas this is not the case. From what I can see, it looks good for Sony and gamers alike.
This is literally the only big one I can think of. Jrpgs are my favorite genres, they make up probably 90% of the games I play, and Playstation seems far more sensible for me in this regard. Fortunately, my wife has a Switch, so I don't need to buy one for this, but what else am I missing? What are these great RPGs that are available on Switch but not Playstation (or PC, played Ocotopath Traveler there)? Sincere question, I love Jrpgs, and if I'm missing out, lemme know.

It's effective though, if deceptive. I'd be okay with it if large percentages of the population didn't still believe that journalistic integrity actually exists. I understand that companies have to be competitive, but it just seems a bit underhanded. Sony does it as well, so they're not blameless either, but MS seems to do it considerably more.
Gotta admire that optimism, lol.
I just didn't care about any of the new characters, and if you don't care about the characters, the story is going to be boring. I get what they were trying to do, but fell flat on the execution IMO. Visuals are on another level though, as per usual with ND. They're getting better at gameplay as well. It is weird how much of a sacred cow this game has become. The first game had universal praise, there was almost no one that had any complaints. If you like the sequel, that's fi...
Probably because they're not new to gaming comment sections. I'm a PC gamer as well, but I never feel the need to let people know specifically that I'm playing a particular game on PC, because it doesn't really matter. Everyone knows what they're doing, lol.
Wait, so this is the "Switch Pro"? That's it? I mean, I know people love Nintendo, but we all know they can do better. But if people continue to not only accept, but praise them when they give us the bare minimum, why would they change? And who can blame them for not changing?
