It's bizarre that people deny this. There was no such division with the first game, at all.
Same. I played it anyway, because a lot of people said it wasn't as bad as the spoilers suggested. Unfortunately it was. I loved the first game, but I just thought the new characters were boring and forgettable. I understood what they were trying to do with Abby mirroring Joel and understanding what he did, but it just fell flat for me. Abby was just insufferable, I felt the same way about Nadine in UC4, it's like they're desperate to make people like bad characters. Game had so m...
Xbox really got lucky when Sony botched the PS3 release, not sure they would have even gotten their foot in the door if Sony had nailed that launch.
...and this is why Nintendo doesn't feel the need to give anymore than the bare minimum. People will praise them and throw money at them no matter what. They're held to a different standard, probably due to nostalgia reasons.
"*beep* *boop* "
Yeah, but that assumes it achieves failure as a result of a tiny minority of hype chasers being disappointed. I didn't follow the leadup to the game at all, so i had no expectations apart from the fact that I loved Witcher 3. It's obviously a very ambitious game, and it's damn good too, the writing, visuals, and art direction are great. So they didn't live up to their lofty gameplay mechanic expectations? This might be a problem for me if it wasn't such a phenomenal game. ...
I've been pretty happy with my WD SSDs on PC, if/when I do buy expanded storage for PS5, it'll probably be WD.
I disagree that CDPR does (heresy, I know, we're all supposed to not only hate CP2077, but feel it is our duty to destroy the company, sorry, I liked the game...a lot, and a rushed last gen version I've never played, something that was most likely out of the hands of the developers, is not going to make me hate them). Disagree with ND too, even though I didn't much like TLOU2, especially compared to the first, but it sold like hotcakes, so clearly a ton of people did. Also, my onl...
If this were meant as consumerist satire, I'd be all for it. I don't generally rail against "consumerism", but this is just too perfect, lol.
Not the least bit interested in BR, but basically everyone I know plays Fortnite or Warzone, so I understand why publishers are chasing after it.
@derek It is bizarre, half the time Xbox fans online act more like shareholders than gamers. Maybe they are? Lol, who knows? Furthermore, they often mislead to make a point. Pointing out Xbox beating PS5 in the USA is like pointing out that American football is more popular in the US than soccer, lol. It's even more absurd than this though when you factor in the hardware shortages, and the obvious point about Sony needing to spread their supply thinner due to global demand, whereas Xbox d...
I mean, they always have, how is this even a serious question? Apart from dropping the ball with the PS3 launch, it's just the norm, and even then, they went on to win in the end. Which is fine, MS have plenty of money to sustain the competition, and it seems like they're trying to make their own little niche market with cloud and service gaming stuff anyway.
Accessibility isn't making people cater to irrational fears, especially the dumber ones like this, it's helping people with legitimate disabilities.
Some sick people out there.
Lol, this makes me feel old. These guys were the major name in video cards when I was a kid. I barely understood the concept of video cards back then though, as I had the entry level Packard Bell 486 with 8mb ram, and onboard video, which pretty much maxed out on DOS games.
I was confused about the headline for a minute, til I saw where it was from.
Are other games not? Always found it weird that they lump so many different kinds of people into that acronym. Never been a fan of being lumped into groups based on superficial immutable characteristics, different strokes I guess.
Sounds good, loved Berseria.
That's probably a bit much, but yeah, I don't really have the confidence in quality that you expect to have with many first party studios, particularly ones that make your flagship IP. But who knows, I'm sure the devs are working hard to salvage their reputation after the reception they got a year ago. I'm no Xbox fan, but I think gamers seem to be getting increasingly unforgiving when it comes to game developers, which will only discourage innovation.
Eh, I wouldn't go that far, a few years maybe.
