Treyarch: "We're going to be showing the true extent of war, realism is numero uno! Hey look, zombies!!!!"

Still excited for Black Ops though.

I think you can still access things like the PSN store with a custom firmware but its been a while since I've followed the PSP CFW scene.

You do need the latest firmware to access the PSN Store though regardless of firmware IIRC.

Because most car manufacturers have their own used car dealerships or ones licensed out so they still see something from used car sales most of the time.

Publishers generally DO make something from used game sales, the person who bought the used game can go on to buy DLC for it, if the game uses in-game ads the publishers get a cut from that too.

Publishers still have the opportunity to make money from used game sales, they're just looking for even more of it.

This is Vegas WAS supposed to be an AAA title, considering Surreal's track record before the Warner buyout and apparent layoffs, they could have done it too.

It's not just about doing it first, but doing it best. ;)

The action RPG/hack and slash genre has been around for a while, God of War is just a really identifiable and "mainstream" series in contrast to other games in that genre so that's why it's used for comparisons IMO.

The fact that you are calling me an Xbox 360 fanboy discredits your post entirely, I have never made any unjust criticisms against any console and feel free to check my post history if you want proof.

Bans happen in sweeps to stop current pirates and to warn furthers from attempting to mod their consoles and those who already have if they were not found to stop doing so, to make an example out them if you will.

This dongle gives regular users more access ...

Another thing about this particular site, it always seems to specifically single out the 360 version of multiplats especially if it's obvious like in this instance, Crysis 2 yesterday, New Vegas today.

James Cameron's Avatar: The Game and Invincible Tiger are games on the 360 out now that support various 3D modes.

Avatar on 360, PS3, and PC does use Stereoscopic 3D, you just need an HDMI connection and a TV that supports 120 Hz.

The Xbox 360 has already been hacked using a variety of methods, with the PS3, currently one method exists. What's to say this one method can't open up further methods?

I also don't see why you are singling out my comment when almost every single thread about the hack has people saying Sony is working on a solution or simply waiting for sales to increase, etc? I'm speaking realistically on the business side of things and as a gamer.

If they have a fix they should kill it now to reduce damage as much as they can, if they wait for a hardware boost that may not come at all (it's not like this hack is easy or cheap to produce after all) software pirates will still be able to go through with what they want to do and that will hurt developers.

Don't forget Van Buren, Fallout 2, etc either. I'm really not a fan of Fallout 3 either, the game was good but it was lacking the depth of games like Oblivion. You're able to rebuild entire towns in Oblivion from the ground up yet you can in a post apocalyptic game where you even come across settlements specifically telling you they want to improve?

I'm also getting tired of people still blaming Obsidian for KotOR 2 when it was clear LA cut development time ...

Somewhere in developer HQ: Developers look on with worried anticipation to see how this device impacts the future of software sales for their games.

Meanwhile, on N4G: Fanboys try to define the meaning of hacked...

Seriously, it won't be helping the industry no matter how you look at it.

This list is full of fail for not even including people like Carol Shaw and Dona Bailey, they were by the very definition pioneers in the industry. Take this list for example,

http://classicgames.about.c...

And three of the four on this list aren't even game developers yet the opening paragraph talks about creating game worlds.

Skizelli: Demigod was actually pretty anticipated by many people, especially by the DOTA community. It was actually advertised pretty well.

Just recently, Dragon Quest XI or what ever the latest one is on DS placed in the Top 10, Lego Harry Potter DS did as well. A few years after launch there were PSP games charting too, not so much now asides from Japan.

Free exclusive DLC and no HDD install...

They are definitely trying, what more do you want?

Such deals have to be disclosed to some extent in SEC filings for publicly traded companies don't they? Why not just check those for any hint of a deal when or if they are already filed?

Situations like this are why I've posted many times in the N4G forums about some sort of a safeguard against spoilers like a

tag or a spoiler report for troll comments which automatically hides the comment until a mod checks it out.

That way those who want to discuss spoilers maturely can do so and those who want to simply be trolls about it can be caught before gamers anticipating a titles release fall victim to spoilers.

I though...

If he's right then that's great that the devs are happy and all but the Ensemble name had a lot of weight behind it. Looking back at their development history I could pick any title with their logo on it out of the store shelves and immediately be happy with it.

Same goes with ACES, FASA, Digital Anvil, etc. Instead of immediately closing these studios if issues exist, they should bring people in to work with the studios to resolve them?
