If Microsoft doesn't do it a third party definitely will. Not something like Move persay but just a physical controller to aid with Kinect definitely.
"get in that market"?
Microsoft has been in the phone business for over a decade! Their market share has only begun to decline recently due to the popularity of the iPhone, Android, etc.
Edit: Spelling =/
Just Cause 2 is one of the biggest console games ever made and it looks pretty good.
More disc space does not always mean bigger world size, in the end it's down to the hardware and how it can handle texture streams and such.
Simple answer: No, because it's a Sony IP...
And this is from a developer at Sucker Punch, of course they'd say something like this since they wouldn't be wrong in saying so due to IP ownership. I also doubt you or Sucker Punch have tried coding on an 360 (or you on a PS3 for that matter).
The same goes for Microsoft and Nintendo studios who make similar statements, I really hate this kind of talk from first, second, etc parties who are tied w...
Do you accept Flooz credits?
:)
You don't honestly believe that...do you?
OT: If this is true, I NEVER want a Call of Duty game to tout "realism" ever again!
lonix: You think Bungie was holding Microsoft back? Microsoft owns the IP, they can do what ever they want with it whether Bungie agrees with it or not.
But the fact that a few ex Bungie employees who were key members of the Halo team are now at 343 I think there will be restraint.
Yes, because reviewers ALWAYS look at other genres when scoring games, right?
"NBA 2K11 is the best sports game ever made but it's no Half Life, 5.5/10."
Re-opening Ensemble?
Proof???
If you missed out on games like Conker: Live and Reloaded, Kameo, Viva Pinata, Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts& Bolts, Jetpac Refulled, etc than I feel kind of bad for you since those were great games, fun too.
Jetpac Refulled is still the best game on XBLA for it's price IMO. $5 and you get a completely redone game visually in HD, redone audio in 5.1 from one of the best composers the industry has to offer, the original game included in its entirety, added multiplayer modes th...
Blur is a good game, it was reviewed pretty well too. DJ Hero is pretty fun too and I see where you're coming from but technically it does count as a new IP.
I haven't played Singularity but it's still a new IP and the OP simply asked for new IP investments. War for Cybertron was a pretty good game too and technically a new game IP but one based in the Transformers universe.
Kotick may have said that (link?) but you guys are making it sound li...
bjorn: BioWare didn't do the console ports of Dragon Age, it was done by a company called Edge of Reality.
dkblackhawk50: Who said Treyarch was unhappy?
And Harmonix is owned by MTV IIRC, EA, Activision, etc can do what ever they want to them but at the end of the day, MTV is paying them their checks and looking out for them.
When it comes to Infinity Ward though, what really happened is currently unknown and everything else is simply rumor and speculation. Can we please wait for the court cases to end before trying to choose home town hero?
Clive Barker is a brand name dude, games with his name on them have been made before. EA Sports only saw a quality turn around when Peter Moore joined the team, Madden and FIFA saw little change year to year although some may argue about Madden today.
Activision pushes new IP's as well, Blur, DJ Hero, Singularity, etc. And to be fair, Mass Effect wasn't really EA, it was BioWare and somewhat Microsoft, the game was a hit and they ran with it after buying BioWare.
...
Not really, a lot of gamers have been saying the same thing. The Strategy elements really killed Brutal Legends for a lot of people.
The matter hasn't been resolved yet and everything both sides have said in regards to Activision/IW is simply rumor and speculation.
EA isn't a walk in the park either. They have their issues as well, EA Wives comes to mind. Despite these bumps, both companies still take pretty good care of their employees.
I'd work for either to get my foot in the door, both names would look great on a resume regardless.
How about,
Bizzare Creations
FreeStyle
HighMoon
Radical
Raven
Demon Ware (they do middleware)
And for EA you can't list developers like Valve or CryTek, they are independent meaning they have no relation to EA or anyone. Both of those companies have their games published by others too.
Treyarch has made some great games in the past, Call of Duty 3 was made in what, 8 months? That means t...
APB isn't a driving MMO...it's more so a GTA MMO than anything else.
If you are able to get a new, or pretty new game in exchange I guess it's not that bad. I think you can still play APB for the time being, you just can't sign up for it anymore. So you still get some enjoyment out of the game for who knows how long and potentially a new game.
Not a bad deal at all IMO.
Arghhh! The "original Fallout" is Fallout on PC, I'm tired of hearing people constantly refer to Fallout 3 as the first!
/End Fallout fan rant.
But yeah, good game, enjoy!
