I'm getting kind of sick of all these conflicting bs rumors. Multiple ones every day! It's crazy. I'll just wait for an official announcement.

I could never get into Monster Hunter either. I got the second one for PSP and quit pretty fast. I'm skipping MH3 too. I might give 4 a shot if the controls are ...

I agree with this. DS games on the 3DS eShop is a great idea. They could throw gba games on there too while they're at it.
Sorry LOGICWINS but continuing to use DVDs next gen wouldn't make sense. It didn't matter so much this gen because the 360 and PS3 don't have enough memory to use high res textures. The next Xbox and PlayStation however will absolutely have enough. Those textures take up a lot of space and DVDs just don't have the capacity. And could you imagine Microsoft falling behind frickin' Nintendo in tech?

A agree with you on a lot of what you said but a console that is more powerful than a high end PC is wishful thinking, especially in the beginning of the console's lifetime before developers get the hang of how to get the most out of it. PCs will always have better graphics and I'm OK with that. I'm just happy to be able to play games on my couch and with more than one person.
I don't really go for conspiracy theories. It couldn't just be that companies want to make software for hardware that sells well?
Though, not that an exclusivity deal would be surprising. The Wii U in Japan launched with a Monster Hunter bundle which sure says something.
But if there was an exclusivity deal, it's not like Sony couldn't have done the same thing. If they were really trying to push the Vita like they should, why didn't they ...
It's like people are forgetting the last console generation. The Xbox was much more powerful than the PS2 and the GameCube was slightly so, and yet all the big games came out on the PlayStation because, like the 3DS, it had the larger install base. I never heard anyone complaining then.
I think the only difference would have been higher price and maybe slower load times. And of course you wouldn't have to change discs.
That would be cool, but I doubt they would do that for a console release. Maybe on 3DS...
Honestly nothing has been confirmed yet by Nintendo. Only rumors so far.
I think theyellowflash just meant that PCs have better graphics than consoles and Warfighter sucks. I've never played it, though, so I don't know.

Nintendo will have to counter the next Xbox and PS with software. When they're actually announced. They can't counter something that doesn't exist. People who aren't like us that read gaming news everyday don't know there are probably two new systems coming out this year.
THANK YOU. That's exactly right. The reason it's "bad" for politians to flip flop is because people vote for them, and they don't want the person they vote for to suddenly change their stance on an issue they care about. This guy is an analyst that changes his predictions whenever new information comes out.
I'm as excited as anyone for the PS4 to come out, but I'm confused. Since this is a rumor where's that little bar the top that let's you vote on whether or not it's true?
Can someone please explain to me why this rumor is true and the other rumors were not true?
