Great article. Totally brought me back.
Mario 64 is probably my favorite too. It's really the only N64 game I still play sometimes, not counting the Zelda remake for 3DS. Goldeneye might have been the most fun I've ever had playing multiplayer, though.
I would never sell a system unless I bought a succeeding system that has backwards compatibility.
I don't get how "nes fanatic" is insulting. Any gamer who is over the age of 26 or so has probably played a ton of games on the NES and SNES. We were all NES fanatics back then. Maybe Akuma is just making fun of us old gamers or maybe he's angry he never got to play River City Ransom.
I'd rather just play on PSP.
I hope they're not just announcing release dates for the launch window games.
That wasn't some of your best work :-/. You can't just phone it in. You gotta troll with your heart and soul, man.
Interesting points, but what's the difference between what you're suggesting and a Vita doing remote play?
Nevermind. It's just a messed up promotional pic. The buttons are in the correct place on the actual controller:

Why... did someone disagree with me about that?
I'd play it.
Whenever someone who has played the Wii U for any length of time comes on N4G and says why a controller with a screen doesn't suck (like I'm about to), it always turns into that book Green Eggs and Ham. "No Sam-I-Am, I do not want a screen in my controller." C'mon, just try it!
It's like:
"You can control your TV."
"I have a remote."
"You can browse the internet."
"I have a computer.&...
Wait, what? They switched the A and B buttons on their version of the Pro controller? Why? That's bizarre. I wonder if it's just the labels or if the actual inputs are swapped.
I want that PowerPak, btw.
@Gohadouken
I can understand disagreeing with the comparison. In the comparison's defense it was Capcom again taking a franchise away from its roots and changing everything that fans originally loved about it in order to appeal to a new audience. That's what I was thinking, anyway. But of course you're right. DmC is no RE 4.
But you disagree with my sentiment too? I'm actually not trying to defend Capcom or DmC. My point is that you must keep ...
@Root
I can see what you mean, in that reviews should mention the differences between this game and previous DMCs so fans will not buy it with the wrong expectations, but beyond that reviewers don't have any obligation to a franchise's fans. You can't expect a reviewer to give a good game a bad score just because you wanted it to be a different game. If a reviewer believes a game is good and people will enjoy it, they have to put away bias and give it a good score...
You're living in a dream world, Neo.
The majority of Japanese people absolutely do not like anime or video games. Manga is pretty popular, though.
Axecution said "...a good game is a good game and deserves a score that represents that."
As of right now he has 7 disagrees.
Maybe the people that disagree with me will make a petition on the Whitehouse website.
I don't think information has any opinion on the matter. YOU want it to be free because you don't want to support the industry that everyone here loves.
MultiConsoleGamer just said that piracy won't doom the 3ds, not that piracy is good.
Maybe the people that disagree with you will make a petition on the Whitehouse website.
I don't know about Lego City. It looks cool for Wii U but I tend to not trust handheld games developed alongside console versions.
