The article says it's $1.00 to $1.50 discount not that the games cost $1.00 to $1.50. The article might be wrong though... I thought they said the games would cost $1.00 to 1.50 to rebuy. I need to watch the Nintendo Direct again.

That's the curse of the early adopter. That's happened to me with every system I bought at launch. Remember the 360? I just played Geometry Wars for weeks.
After seeing that trailer I ordered Xenoblade Chronicles from Amazon (don't tell my wife). I never played it but I guess I'll have to now.

After that article was posted here the other day of the Dolphin emulator running Skyward Sword in 1080p... wow, just wow. Those people (pixel press is their youtube name) also did a Windwaker in 1080p and that looked even better. I was planning on buying Windwaker when it's released on VC but now I'm going to have to wait for an HD release.

Maybe he means as impressive as the Resident Evil 1 remake was at the time? Of course the games you mentioned look great but maybe he means they lack the wow factor that the RE1 remake had. It did look pretty good for the time... personally I think RE 4 looked better though.

Similar things were said about the Wii. I COMPLETELY agree with you of course, but I'm just pointing out that there was no reason they shouldn't have already had a vast gaming catalog available 5 years ago. I don't know why they didn't prioritize it before and I don't know why they would sud...

I agree that this totally sucks. But I think it's worse that this franchise HAD to go from multi to exclusive because no publisher would save it. Even the original Bayonetta, a well reviewed game that sold over 2 million copies, was considered a failure. It's crazy. I don't know what's going to happen in the coming gen but I don't know how medium size...
