Where did you get that 34m number? Vgchartz says 30.14m, and they historically over track.
"hardware revenue dropped by 29% year-on-year due to the lower volume of consoles sold."
And that was after a 42% decline in the last quarter.
"Personal Computing Business, which includes the gaming business, overall gaming revenue grew 43% year-on-year, including 43 points of net impact from the Activision acquisition. -->Th...
FF16 3 million in first week on PS5.
FF16 250,000 on PC after a month.

Quit posting crappy PC's that cost more than the Pro but are much weaker.
I mean, you guys were talking down the CPU on the PS5 Pro which is 8 core at 3.8ghz but then you post PC's with 6 core 2.5 ghz cpus and slow as crap old memory and weaker gpus and they cost more than the Pro.
You're factually posting crap pc's that cost more.
You can't build a PC that will out perform the Pro for ...
What are you talking about, it was you who got all the downvotes here, no one agreed with you. No one cares about render resolution, it's irrelevant. And your tech comment was uninformed as well.
You can have the company that brags about the value of the games they didn't even make, I'll stick to the company that can brag about how many GOTY awards and nominations they have.

Well 78% are digitally on PlayStation, so even if you use the Amazon numbers as the base and calculate the 13% difference it's still approximately 8:1.
The losses in their gaming division are only a small fraction of the people Microsoft laid off.
"However, those who want a personalized profile that is more suited to their ear shape—something some PlayStation 5 games do for free—they will need to pay extra."
This is a system level feature on PlayStation, it's always free.
And even if you want to break it down to the game level (which is ridiculous), no PlayStation game has ever charged for anything close to this type of thing.
We can look on Amazon.

So all the serious AMD, chip leakers hardware analysts, and everyone elses who know the exact computational values of the parts then multiplied the clock speed and number of CUs, people who used math to come up with a measurement using pre-existing formulas were off by 16 TF?
Show your work, show us the formula you used to come to that conclusion.
If that were the case, to achieve 75/25 given that the US is the largest region for xbox by far everywhere else would need to have been improbably skewed towards the series s.
Great to see so many companies supporting the Pro with updates.

"The PS5 outsold the Series consoles again so this dude is making a conspiracy out of his own inability to read. If you read through to Circana's actual data, Series consoles sold third in unit sales:"
Obviously I understand that...
"Today's numbers reflect the proportion just in the US market where Circana reports. Your 25/75 split is based on Microsoft data from nearly 2 and a half years ago, April 2022...
"Series X Now Outselling Series S in US"
Press X to doubt.
So you're telling me that the series x managed to become the lead selling console in the chart release of the exact month the PS5 Pro went on sale... This reminds me of how when the xbonex went on sale NPD/Circana which had always reported console sales switched to dollar sales because the x was so much more expensive it skewed the charts.
When this 25/75 split w...
Cool, seems like Pro is getting tons of support.
2024 has been one of the best years for PlayStation single player gamer's.
They just released Astrobot they have Lego: Horizon coming they published and had numerous 3'rd party single player hits like Rise of the Ronin, FF7 Rebirth, Pacific Drive, Stellar Blade, Silent Hill 2, Granblue Fantasy: Relink, Zenless Zone Zero.
Pretty much all these games will be on someones GOTY list.
And next year we have Ghosts of Yotie, Death Stra...
Silent Hill 2 Remake Is "By Far" The Fastest Selling Game In The Series

Everything you have said here has been downplay, nothing you said had a positive connotation, you're calling out minor irrelevant resolution differences you're saying PS5 Pro isn't next gen your talking about how good it looked on PS5 not on the Pro... every comment here has been downplay.
The basic thing here to me, is that the game has a 4k output resolution using the quality mode settings even with some improvement to shadows, lighting and other post process...
Death Note looks pretty interesting, since I already beat GW:T it's the highlight for me.
