I love my 360 and appreciate what my PS3 brings to the party. Clearly, I like my 360 more.
But look at it this way: this is one step closer to letting everyone own every console. I'm not going to attack Sony for trying to increase their sales... least of all by dropping their price and introducing a new model.
I still reserve my right to mop up the PS3 fanboys that claim infallibility...
The only thing scarier than a person who feels the need to defend a multi-billion $ corp is the person who feels the need to attack the former. Get over it. Live and let game. The RRoD fiasco is unfortunate, but I'm glad Microsoft continues to eat their costs in replacements. As long as they want to replace my console, I'll let them.

This whole PS3 Slim situation has brought out the WORST in the community, on both sides. For the record... there are plenty of good games on all three systems to justify a purchase, and the least of those IMHO is the Wii.
A price drop for the PS3 means that more gamers can now be console agnostic and own them all. Every price drop is a victory for EVERY gamer. There is now even less of a reason to support one and only one console.
This is great news for everyone......

Bout time Sony got their head out of their branding asses. I like the new rounded logo. It's less imposing and evokes more... I want to call it, humility. And dropping the CAPS is a very welcome change, since it seems only Sony was adhering to the standard.

Actually, the patent for the method of custom soundtracks isn't a bad idea. If they patent using a certain subsystem to remove a flagged audio source in code, and replace that with user's music... why not? If I were Microsoft, I would want a patent on that too...

I was ready to give him what-for for putting Halo 3 on there, but in the end, what he said was a fair assessment. It's a bit overrated by certain parts of the gaming public, but you also have to recognize it's severely UNDERrated by another group. Halo 3 did a lot of things right, but perfect it was not.
