He's an invincible teenager who thinks he can break the rules without consequences. They aren't rational people, so I don't expect anyone to deal with them rationally. It's time mods stopped worrying about being politically correct and start wielding the power a little wrecklessly.

I can bet any account with "lupo" in it will be investigated. And if it's him, his ass is banned.

This loser skater punk is banned and he's getting his punk ass run up the flag pole.

This is a good thing. The Pro has no obligation to "be professional". There is no reason or cause to sue Microsoft. And shame on all of you for using this as a platform for your anti-Microsoft sentiment.

In my case, I tend to group with more players than can fit in some games. If there are more than 4 players in our party, we can all connect to other 1v100 sessions and keep talking.

If a group is meeting up, they can log on a few minutes early and keep playing whatever game they are playing.

Honestly, you might not think there are a lot of uses for cross-game chat, but you tend to be thankful when you find one. It's part of what makes XBL more of a community.

Honestly, this is why these discussions don't really matter anymore.

However, I expect the PS3 will enjoy a much longer previous-gen life than the 360 will, relative to their successor's launch. 360 is going to eat their reliability problems once again since no one will want to buy one while Microsoft has a new console in the wings.

PS will outsell 360. This isn't hard to see. But the level of confidence I have in that statement fluctuates wildly. Why then would I settle on an answer to this question when Arc and Natal haven't even launched yet? The best is still yet to come in this gen, and I expect that from both the 360 and the PS3.

I expect NOTHING new from Nintendo anymore. My hope is that at the end of this generation, both Sony and Microsoft whip their ass, but that's just wishful thinking now.

Yep. KZ2 had bots and they were implemented very well, IMHO.

5858d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

I think bots are incredibly important. They let users experience the multiplayer game without immersing in the uber-leet environment that every game turns into within a week of release. Not everyone wants to learn the ins and outs of an online game while the veterans yell "noob" at them.

But when there is a robust online, bots detract from the online population.

It's a balancing act, to be sure. I especially like games that can drop bots into a game and ...

Long story short: If the reviewer was into this game, he will give it a high score. If a gamer has similar values to the reviewer, he will probably like it too.

Now, I see people's values getting twisted all out of whack for this game, making compromises to like a game they normally wouldn't like. Now, I KNOW I will love this game because I KNOW I loved Indigo Prophesy. But I foresee a lot of people shoehorning this game into their collection just for its graphics.

Pre-ordering for anything except the most in-demand, must-have, game of the year is generally pointless.

But it's generally priceless to hear the Gamestop pre-recorded phone call tell me I can bring in my used games for "an additional... zero... percent trade-in value".

Ok, so we have skipped console exclusivity, timed exclusivity, and DLC exclusivity... and now we are on timed retailer DLC exclusivity? WTF? There was a line back there somewhere, but it was crossed long ago.

@darkpower: Fine, I'll rephrase it to come to a conclusion independent of this article, which while makes several good points, is still baised as all f**k.

Sony claiming they were on a 10-year cycle is meaningless, confusing marketing-speak designed to excite only the lowest IQs of Sony fanboys. Everyone else in the world takes one look at the statement are realizes it has no meaning, Sony's going to weasel out of it by abusing the "spirit" of the promise, and it's th...

This really exposes the flaw with the PS3 10-year plan. Their promises have locked their current-gen console, PS3, into a fight with next-gen consoles, Xbox "720". Sony can't just stand up and say "technology will not advance in the next ten years because we say so". They will have to compete with whatever happens in the next 10 years.

Of course, there is nothing stopping them from "supporting" the PS3 to that 10 year mark while they release a PS4...

It's clear some annoying, contrarian mosquitoes have flown into this thread. And that's all they are... merely annoying. The rest of us are playing games while they are waiting for their long odds bet to pan out. In the meantime, they can continue to split hairs on what an "exclusive" really is. Odds are, they won't be playing them on a PC anyway, regardless of their availability.

@Troll_Police: Ignoring you has been a long time coming, but it's good that I don't have to listen to your undeniably biased rants any more. If only I could extract compensation from you for the brain cells you've killed.

Anyway, ME2 isn't a system seller. Why would you call a sequel that lets you import data from the first game on the same system a system seller. In fact, I'm afraid of the opposite. I'm afraid that ME2 won't get as much exposure because there are people who...

If she likes cute, get her to play Eternal Sonata. My wife keeps going back to that game so frequently, I'm thinking about getting another 360 for my study.

Since you mentioned headset, I've got a better Bluetooth than they would ever pack in with a game. And if you are in the market for a Bluetooth, get a Plantronics Voyager Pro. Dead serious, the best headset ever. Plus, you can pair it to several devices at once, and connect to two simultaneously. Mine is paired to my PS3, my laptop, my cell phone, my company's oncall blackberry, and my desk phone in the office. Seriously, it owns all other headsets. I wouldn't dream of ever putting anot...

This game... I don't know how to take it. I mean, it does what it says it does, but it misses so many other things it would take to make it work. I'll keep playing, but I'm a bit disappointed... especially after playing a game like MW2. Say what you will about the plethora of glitches... but MW2 (and COD4) took more risks on game design that paid off.

I see the tablet being a different experience, entirely. There is enough real estate there for some more complex touch actions than you can get on the iphone screen. I'm anxious to see what they come up with here, but I'm also prepared to watch the locust horde of Apple zombies descend on anyone who stirs them up.

Oh, that's some bullshit and everyone should know it. I never pegged the Japanese to be a cynical culture....

And anyone who wants to talk about "planned obsolescence" should remember... we are in the video game industry. Obsolescence is built into the industry. It's called "next-generation".

@skv: If you would call getting the RROD on Xbox 360 a "break", then the YLOD is a break. You need to send it in when that happens, right?
