Don't get me wrong, there's games that warrant full price. What is not okay is that they don't decrease in price with age like on any other platform. There is also a ton of games that should never be more than $49.99 given their quality (mario sports games, 2D games etc.).

No, I said for the most part, ie. all of their 2D platformers and party games, Pokemon, etc. which are essentially portable games they are now charging full price for. Why should mario party, tennis, mario bros u and old ports from wii u in general be $90? Nintendo is notoriously disgusting with game pricing, particularly 1st party games. I'm sure the budget required for Mario party is nothing compared to any 1st party PlayStation game.
Honestly just tighten up remote play and bring back PlayStation Allstars and Modnation racers and I'll likely not bother with another Nintendo console. Entitlement. It wasn't so prevalent in the 80s and 90s but now everyone thinks every single thing has to accommodate them. The world isn't going to accommodate your every preference. @ricegum He isn't wrong with respect to the visuals. It looks like handsome collection, which is obviously a last Gen port. I think the game looks awesome but it would have been nice to get a current Gen visual upgrade as well.
I just hope it looks and plays a bit better than Borderlands 2. It looked like a last Gen game visually in the trailer. It's not a huge deal, but it would be nice if they made it a bit flashier given current hardware capabilities. At the end of the day if it keeps local split screen I really can't complain. It's ridiculous that almost all MP games have dropped split screen.

These games are difficult metroidvanias. If you don't want to play a difficult metroidvania, you can move on. Walking 50 feet in these games is exciting because just getting to the next checkpoint feels like an accomplishment. They don't need to change anything.
PS5: buy and own you're games (physically or digitally) and/or subscribe and stream you're games, with the best 1st party games available on any other existing platform. Throw in PSVR2 and it's very hard for me to care about what these other n00b companies are doing.

If it works as promised and they deliver exclusives then yes, it is a huge threat. I'll still pick up my PS5 of course though, but Stadia could be pretty awesome.

It's obviously the future, but until everyone has far more advanced internet connections streaming won't be reliable enough. And when it is, the other big names in gaming will also advance their services to adapt.
This is impressive. I'm a PlayStation guy, but aside from a lack of exclusives this tech is really pushing streaming forward in an impressive way from the looks of it so far.
When I was in grade school, you would be impressed at school if people had beaten certain games, or felt like you were awesome if you had managed it. There was no easy mode, the game was the game, same for everyone. That magic makes FS a wicked developer, quit trying to ruin it because you can't beat their games lol
