I'd like to see them return to former glory. This was the only chance of that happening. Very excited to see what their next game is like (while also cautiously optimistic).
Well hopefully they get back to the quality of halo 1-3. Quality over quantity. Better campaign with big levels you'd actually enjoy replaying with friends, more fleshed out pvp with vehicle maps added back in, and no more useless dlc. Expansions are great once a year max, if they are solid, otherwise focus on quality content.
Considering their track record leading up to the Activision partnership, I'm very excited to see them go independent.
That's interesting. If it is basically a new take on the steam box (ie. a console that runs pc games) then it's basically able to match the Xbox for games right out of the gate lol. I'll stick with my PlayStation and Nintendo consoles regardless.
So I haven't done any research, but will this be able to play PC games by chance? If so, technically it could play Microsoft console exclusives correct?
This is amazing news why would anyone be scared?
Honestly I'm so sick of open world copy and pasted games. Keep doing what you're doing SSM!
One of the GOAT's IMO
RDR2 does not deserve that meta
Absolutely well deserved!
The core gameplay mechanics are pretty rough, I don't know how anyone could be excited for the online for this game to begin with. This just deals the deal for me.
I would love for the PS5 to be similar to the switch as long as they didn't have to sacrifice on the hardware when docked. Power of a Sony console with the versatility of the switch would be insane.
It's not a milestone in gameplay mechanics. There's always room for improvement that requires more powerful hardware.
That's fine, but I will never buy a single player game that contains any form of loot box, period. MP at this point is a lost cause.
I loved my vita but they never supported it with enough games unfortunately. The hardware was brilliant for the time.
@skull
Sony exclusive reviews are not inflated. It takes an idiot to not acknowledge that since it's inception the PlayStation brand has consistently delivered system selling exclusives. Nintendo has done the same. Xbox has had some great exclusive games along the way, but never been consistent enough to even have mascots for the brand. Now anything they do have is playable on PC making it even less enticing to grab one. Anyone defending the Xbox brand likely grew up wi...
Its not even in the conversation with Horizon lol
It's not too brilliant to appreciate. If you break down the games core mechanics it has many significant flaws. There's a fine line between immersive and annoying, and this game spends a good amount of time being annoying at the expense of aiming for immersion. I am really enjoying it, and I find it hilarious how so many people think they have a superior gaming IQ who don't agree that this game has flaws.
For a decade? Is that how long we expect cyber punk to take to release?
I mean I'm admittedly biased but I would love to see them backed exclusively by PlayStation with the creative freedome Sony gives as a publisher. It's financially beneficial to remain 3rd party obviously though. I'd prefer a new franchise also that builds off of what they have learned up to this point.
