This is the most mind blowing gameplay I've ever seen. This is insane!
I mean they at least own IPs now was more my point. Prior to the acquisitions they had a weak 1st party lineage to say the least. I'm not a fan of how they acquired the IPs, and time will tell how they handle them of course. Even still they have a long way to go before they match the quality set by Sony's 1st party studios.
I mean every year is a great year for playstation Studios. So far PS5 has cranked out Demons Souls, Returnal, Ratchet, Miles Morales, and more. Returnal and Demons Souls are my favourites so far this generation hands down, however the visuals and animations in Miles Morales were phenomenal. Still need to play FIST and Kena too.
So far it's ok. Quality isn't what I expected technically from Microsoft's biggest gun but I'm crazy impressed that I can actually stream this game with no latency.
I'd say Microsoft is currently innovating via games services like they did with Xbox live back in the day, and then again with achievements. Sony will be forced to follow suit in the services department and that's great news for consumers. As far as games go, Microsoft is still behind Sony in 1st party studio quality as far as I'm concerned, however they are the strongest they've been now after the acquisitions and they do have a bright future.

Sony need to fix plus. If I had of realized Xbox cloud worked as well as it does, I wouldn't have even renewed plus this year.
Playstation Studios create the most cinematic gameplay, it's just ridiculous. Literally feels like a movie with how insane the animations are. Can't wait for this.
As a huge playstation fan I have to say PS+ is terrible. I have an active sub, and sometimes there are great games added, but gamepass blows plus out of the water. I don't even own an Xbox console, and for $2 I have access to gamepass cloud with incredibly low latency and now get to enjoy halo, Forza, psychonauts etc for basically nothing. I will likely not renew my plus subscription after this year unless huge changes are made.
Yeah weird. Either way I won't buy a series x just for this so I'll be restricted to messing around with the cloud version via my $2 4 month trial lol
After realizing the split-screen runs buttery smooth on series x I'm now wishing I had one lol. Was a huge fan of Bungie's halo era and this looks very fun. I initially thought split screen only ran at 30fps, didn't realize that was for the series s.
Actually my mistake. It seems that split-screen runs at 60fps on series x and 30fps on series s, although all versions are plagued with black bars. So if you have series x no issues.
All I'm saying is that there's no excuse for halo infinite not to blow an annual game like Vanguard out of the water. Doesn't make any sense that it has worse performance.
Vanguard has better visuals and runs better in split screen. Infinite runs with black bars at 30fps in split screen compared to vanguards 60fps with no bars. How is that possible for Microsoft's biggest gun after all these years of development? Very disappointing on top of the F2P pvp model.
Amazing remake. Only full priced game I've ever bought digitally. Bought it Christmas day when all the stores were closed and was too excited to fire it up to wait for stores to open on boxing day. Still chipping away at the platinum with my OP mage build.
I just purchased a Samsung QN90A and it looks phenomenal. My living room is bright so OLED is out. LCD does not suck lol
Can't wait to see what they can do on with an original title. Should be awesome.

Even though they will make a great game with any ip, I hate to see them pulled away from focusing on original games. I was very disappointed with the wolverine announcement for this reason alone.
