Extremely close comparison. Play it on whichever console you prefer, basically.
Although this comparison doesn't factor in performance.
"the walmart of graphics"
I don't agree with it, but I lol'd.
Heh, 87 frames is a lot faster than consoles (including your precious PS3) run it.
A year or two? If you spend a decent amount and don't build a budget rig, it will last longer than that. I have a couple of friends that haven't upgraded their rig in over 4 years, and they're still running games on medium+ settings, which still look better than consoles.
I think GTA and Saints Row set out to do different things. I don't necessarily think Saints Row is copying GTA (anymore).
That said, no, GTA V should do what GTA does best. Don't try and include stuff other games are doing to bring over that audience, too. Give us a good story, like-able characters, the fantastic writing GTA is known for, with solid sandbox gameplay, and call it a day.
Sounds like the only thing the XP400 is missing that the XP500 has is the fully customizable EQ profiles. XP400 comes with several basic presets built in but you can't customize. Not a huge deal, IMO. I had the PX5s (same as the XP500 but without the wireless Xbox chat adapter and with PlayStation marketing) and the custom EQ wasn't very good. Their presets that came already programmed were better than anything I could come up with.
That said, if you're going to s...
You guys can keep disagreeing all you want, I've stated nothing about Zipper or their products that's incorrect.
I'm not happy about this. I loved MAG and I enjoyed the Socom games on PS2. I'm just saying, nothing they've done in the last 5 years has received unanimously positive praise or has sold very well.
Again, I've got nothing agianst Zipper, I'm just pointing out the fact that Sony isn't stupid. They had good reasons for...
@Estranged
I never said reviews matter, the dude stated it was getting great reviews which is incorrect.
And while reviews might not matter on the whole, completely dismissing all of them is a mistake. There are some good journalists out there that review games well, and $60 is a lot to spend on a game you have no hands-on time with.
It's a 71 on metacritic. That's not great.
That said, as a big fan of MAG, it does suck to see this happen. Unfortunately, their last few projects have tanked either commercially or critically (both in some cases).
I agree Shane is a good person and hockey player.
I'm a Stars fan and was impressed with how he handled the suspension he just got for the hit on Benn. He illegally stuck the 'chicken wing' out there and caught Benn in the head, but he immediately realized what he had done and was ready to drop the gloves to answer for it.
The comments he made about what he did after the suspension were also very nice. Good player, and a great way to handle an ill...
^^^ that
I hope it makes it before the end of the month. I walked away from Battlefield 3 in late November because I didn't want to burn myself out on it too early (I'm assuming it will have a very long life).
Lately, I've been jonesing to get back into it.
"...trying to downplay the fact that PSN has three times the ammount of users as LIVE is pathetic..."
No, what's pathetic are people defending a number that's obviously overblown.
Who seriously believes there are 90 million active users on PSN? Even the most blind Sony fanboys know there can't be that many.
I've had 4 accounts, personally. One I created at launch, one I created about a year later when I wanted to cha...
LOL at your "BAM."
Quoting that line just strengthens my case that your original argument made zero sense. You knew the last few CoD games were replicas and you don't understand how gamers keep buying them, yet you still bought it for yourself because you had to see it for yourself. It's like you're faulting other gamers for doing the exact same thing you did.
Regardless, as you said, you were wrong in your decision making so this debate...
Surely you see the inconsistency of your own argument?
"I don't know how gamers can continue to buy CoD games at the rate they do."
But you also said, "No beta, No demo....how was I supposed to know that this was an exact replica of COD4, MW2, even BO?"
You answered your own question before you even asked it.
And being offended by the asking price of $60? Based on what you said in your last argument ab...
To clarify, the majority of MW3 players are on XBL, not PSN and PC combined. Xbox version has sold over 13 million, PS3+PC is at just over 12 million. And over 90% of that was on PS3. Call of Duty just doesn't sell on PC anymore.
Irony
Actually, if you want to get technical, there are 6 that cover the United States. However, roughly 99% of the US population live within 4 of them (East, Central, Mountain, and Pacific).
Sounds like you're done with gaming then?
Oh wow! If that card actually launched for $350 with that kind of performance, it would be huge.
I think AMD would be forced to do another price drop, and the 680 might need a small drop as well. Performance for price would have a new leader.
