Hard to judge since a lot of the screen shots aren't taken in the "exact" same spot, but it looks pretty damn close to me.
"and if you don't see the other parallels i drew, you're not a gamer...period."
Please don't make ridiculous claims like this. It's not up to you to decide who is a gamer and who is not. Because people don't agree with your OPINIONS of what a game looks like, or your OPINIONS on how good a game studio is doesn't make them any less of a gamer than you.
You know, all you guys that come in and bitch over and over again about how many PS3 fanboys there are, are even more annoying than the fanboys themselves.
Yes, there are more PS3 fans than 360 fans on this site, so you can expect there will be more pro-PS3 comments. No one is forcing you to come to the comments section and argue. And there damn sure isn't anyone asking you to come in and start a fight by bitching about them.
Yes, there are trolls on bo...
Agreed. Way underrated. I haven't played in a couple of months, but this might be my calling to go back for round 2.
That's not true, greywulf trolls for the PS3 and he's been down to one for a long time...
Wow, with E3 here right now, you wouldn't think that gaming sites would be reaching so far for news. Here's some news of my own:
Sony would not be allowed to use this game's name or a screenshot of the game without the game creators permission. Do you really think the creator of that game is going to sign off on allowing Sony to trash it in an advert? Doubtful. I say that to try and make folks understand that Sony could be talking about a number of games. I...
Eeee, I don't know about that... There are some great looking 360 games out there, but I have to question how many more drops these devs can squeeze out of the xbox.
I haven't seen anything out of this that interests me, but the actual design of the camera is pretty slick looking.
Follow some of the Game Informer writers on Twitter, or go look at their feeds. I guess several of them were at the event and they've had some... "interesting" opinions. ;-)
'grays of lag 2'?
Wow, that was like the worst attempt ever at making fun of a game's name.
On topic, even if Cliffy really thought Kinect looked like a pile of garbage, I doubt he'd say it. I'm not calling him a liar, I'm just saying, it's not a good idea to bite the hand that feeds.
Yeah, and other people need to get it through their thick skulls that the majority of this is just concept work. As much as you people go on and on about graphics, you'd think you would be able to tell the difference between screenshots and concept art.
You think Epic is the only one that does this?
So I guess Naughty Dog, Guerrilla and Santa Montica are all guilty of bullshots now too, right?
I'm shocked to see XBL 12-month subscription cards outselling the 120GB model of PS3's... I guess some people really do see the value.
But, if you're going to fork over the money for XBL, Amazon is the way to do it. $10 bucks cheaper than buying it on your console.
Absolutely. It's nice to see non-FPS games do well on 360. FPS are so dominant on the 360 right now, and without the success of other genres, it's going to stay that way.
EDIT-Not that there's anything wrong with FPS having so much success, I just like to see diversity so the market doesn't get too over-saturated with one genre.
Can the MOVE sense when I move my fingers on the controller without pushing buttons? No. Can it sense when I lift a foot up? Can it look at my face and know who I am? Can it hear my voice and know who I am? No, no and no.
I'm not saying Natal is going to be better than move, but stop pretending they're the same thing... they're not.
EDIT: Even better yet, will the MOVE let me play without a controller? Nope.
Thank you, sir. You have a very valid argument. You see, you just went from "trolling chicken" to "reasonable argument chicken" in just one comment. :-) You make very good points.
@Below: Unfortunately, there's trolls on both sides of the fence.
Yep, and last I heard that was ALL Microsoft was ever putting out for Natal... ever.
Seriously trollers, come up with a new argument. It's just a tech demo. No one was faulting Sony when the only thing they had to show for the Move was a RE5 adaptation. Like the riccochet game, that game will probably never see the market either, they were just trying to show you what they had in mind.
OMG, do you really think that when someone sends you a video/audio message it stops your game, takes over the entire screen and forces you to watch it? No, it's probably a tiny notification box in the corner of the screen, and then you can check it at your leisure. No different than when friends come on-line... and if you seriously "worry" about checking messages, maybe you should stay off PSN so you don't have to.
EDIT: @Article author: I'll also a...
"The Playstation Move offers the same annoyance, especially with its glowing psychedelic testicles on a stick."
I'm a PlayStation fan, and I'm actually excited about trying the Move, and even I think that line is pure genius.
Lo-rider Karts? Wasn't that a pre-order bonus? ;-)
I was hoping this would get good reviews. We're in a little bit of a summer lull right now until August comes around, so I'm glad this and Transformers are kind of looking like sleeper hits.
