Agreed. Black Ops is going to sell like crazy.
On topic: this is a fantastic idea. Halo and Killzone have both done their own versions of this, but neither actually had the ability to view it all in game. Very awesome stuff. CoD needs stuff like this to keep the game from getting stale.
Hats off to you Treyarch.
I think that's kind of the unwritten rule when it comes to shields. Standard UNSC ammo is best at draining them, but if they're already drained, Covenant weapons = a quick death.
Agreed. As long as it's only an option, I want to see it in every title they can properly fit it in to.
It would be a 48 hour trial, if anything. They haven't included a free month with games in a veeeeeeeery long time.
True, but I'm sure there's quite a few people out there that will pick it up just for the campaign. Maybe if they're not Gold members already they'll give the multiplayer or the firefight matchmaking a try.
That's not going to happen. Their revenue stream is over $700 million strong from Live subscriptions - No way would they make it free now.
It's cool they offer a free weekend now and then, but I think it would be more benificial if they didn't make it specific to one game.
Troll doesn't even begin to describe it. He/she is much more mild now, but back in the day Saaking put up a tough fight for biggest troll on N4G.
And BTW, 93 is an amazing score, and let's not forget that the amount of reviews will double over the next few days. That score is bound to go up/down.
And since I know Saaking is a mega ps3 fanboy (even though he tries to hide it now) I feel it's my duty to point out that 93 is higher than any PS3...
Five isolated incidents of Microsoft making a legitimate mistake concerning console bans. 23+ million active X-Box Live Gold accounts. Do the math.
No kidding. Killzone 2 was an amazing shooter that actually has its own personality.
One single game mechanic that is actually functional doesn't make up for the laundry list of ones that aren't.
As they should have been. Have to agree with Psfan, those 'map packs' were a complete joke.
How do you know it's PS3Attitude that's doing it?
Speaking of spam, how about creating the same article that's already been done just to get hits? Desperate much?
Yes. I already have a camera and I doubt I'll be playing multiplayer in the same house. So that means one move controller and one sub controller. $80 is cheaper than $150, and even if I did decide that I need another move controller, that's $130. But since 2 move controllers are not mandatory, I'm not sure if I'll do it.
Did you read the article?
I've been wondering whether or not I should go with Move or Kinect for motion control gaming, and it looks like Move is going to be a lot cheaper for me personally.
This guys is hilarious.
I can't wait for this game... could be better than GTA4.
I don't think those media server programs allow you to copy information back and forth on the 360, though. I don't know for sure, but last I checked only the PS3 could do that.
I'm not disagreeing with you fellas, but just remember that 5 for Eurogamer means 8 or 9 for most other sites;-)
Absolutely! Maybe my favorite PSN title of all time... so far.
I didn't get in to Racers or Monsters, but I thought both Eden and Shooter were awesome.
Also, I don't really know what ground this article has to stand on. The 4 games they have put out that I know of are all pretty drastically different and appeal to different kinds of gamers.
EDIT - Thank about this: all 4 of their games that I know of are in different genres. Racing, tower defense, platformer and dual-stick shooter. I'd say the creativ...
Whilst I disagree with the majority of what I read from this review, you at least were making valid points as to why you didn't like it... until the part where you said it was tedious. You lost me there.
What's funny is that pretty much every Halo up until now became tedious at some point or another, but not Reach, at least not for me.
One second your gunning down your enemies on foot, the next you're gunning in a Warthog as your AI drives. Th...
