To be honest, this is a redundant debate that's been waging for decades with 0 effect on the reality. Games are selling better than ever before, and yet there still is piracy.
What's been proven is overwhelming majority of people would rather buy games at affordable prices than go through the trouble of pirating. Just look at the continued success of Steam, GOG and the consoles over several generations. Generally MS and Sony try to keep prices reasonable but 3rd pa...
Aha, the Sony v Geohot court battle which basically ended up with him working at FB and then Google. And soon after that the failoverflow lecture which was made Geohot's jailbreak look amateur.
No idea why MS doesn't actually just make a wearable MC helmet for collector's edition. That would sell out in 1 second. I still remember considering getting Halo 3 collector's edition until I read the smallprint that the helmet can't be worn.
DS3 and Sekiro were frame unlocked, at least to 60fps I believe.
From the gfx, it seems a modern beefy PC should easily do 4K/60 but FS are infamous for poor hardware optimization so...
To be honest, this has been employer mentality for the last 10-20 years.
In the 20th century, degrees were a rarity. But towards the end of that century, more and more people attended university. Simple supply/demand means the as more degrees are awarded, their value decreases because degree-required jobs aren't increasing as fast. Of course, this differs per industry. But generally speaking this is true.
That's why a lot of employers these days r...
I'm guessing the bundle is basicallly Campaign at launch, and MP early access pre-launch?
I try my best to get the games on a discount. Only ones I preorder are Zeldas.
Sort of, yeh. But I don't subscribe to Nintendo Switch online, at least.
Problem is Nintendo has a really loyal customer base. They no longer need to compete with Sony/MS and no longer need to push the boundaries of innovation.
On the Wii, I've only bought Mario Galaxy 1/2, Smash Bros Brawl, Twilight Princess, Skyward Sword, Mario Kart Wii, Metroid Prime 3
Wii U: Mario 3D World, Smash Bros, Mario Kart 8
Switch: Mario Odyssey, Smash Bros Ultimate, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Breath of the Wild, Metroid Dread.

L4D these days is basically playing with 3 other friends on the hardest difficulty.
It hasn't aged well now, simply because it's a 12-13 year old online co-op game. But it was absolutely a revolutionary game.
B4B just doesn't seem innovative at all. And from other reviews, it feels like an unpolished & unfinished game.
I think the answer to your question is that the Switch being handheld is the most critical part of its sales success.
It's biggest appeal is the fact you can play "console games" on the go. I'm like you, I mainly play Switch docked, so I was hoping to see a Switch Pro with upgraded spec and 4K output, but sadly it's not to be. Nintendo will most likely release a new console before that happens.
The movement feels exactly like Dark Souls except with the added jump.
Can't wait.
I'm really curious who's taken over development now. I suppose they're keeping it a secret until they're satisfied the game is in a state that's actually worth talking about.
I guess we'll find out by The Game Awards. I have a feeling he'll be announcing his next game there.
Interesting, I was unaware of this...
I wonder if this (+ Dirge being garbage) is why we never got a true FF7 sequel game.
That's not very honest. They are clearly superior to Metroid Samus Returns on 3DS.
Sure, they're not cutting edge like the compeition, but the Nintendo Switch is technically inferior to the PS4/X1 let alone PS4/XSX.
Sora is actually a massive addition. As Sakurai mentioned, he was the top-requested character to be included as a fighter when the global poll was conducted.
Me personally, I was never a huge fan of including Sora, but I'm not unhappy. His moveset seems pretty fun to play and seems like he has the best recovery (and by definition edge-guarding) of all characters too - which is why Sakurai made him ultra light so he'd be launched further than majority of fighters.

Agree with all the above comments. I've played a lot of Halo 1-Reach MP and very little of Halo 5, and none of Halo 5. But one thing in Halo 1-Reach was the BTB always felt far too one-sided or you felt too lost. I really enjoyed BTB in this last flight of Infinite. More so than Arena too.
It could be the maps in Arena aren't so great. Behemoth is definitely the best. Live Fire is good (if a little bland looking), Bazaar is pretty standard but Recharge is too confus...
There's clearly been some polish and seems like main character's design is less "generic short haired male" though I was really hoping they'd change the design more radically.
Greaphically, seems better. Gameplay-wise, no idea until I try. The 1st demo was okay and the core battle design is interesting. But I feel if they want to be better, they should just keep studying their source of inspiration - Dark Souls.
Only possible reason is R* still in process of renewing/negotiating the licenses.
